How hot is it? Driving at 75 my charge temps hit 114 and that's with the whoosh v1, lol.

I came to a stop, swapped over to check intake temps which were actually at the same temp as the charge temps for a short period but then stayed at 130-135 before parking.

This shit is crazy. People complain about not being able to drive hard in the winter but there's just no chance in the late spring/summer. Even the ambient temp went from 91 to 105, climbing even at speed.

It was hot enough today to convince me that, with my 25 mile trip to work, it's time to get the mountune radiator. Between last week and this week there's been a significant jump in coolant/oil temps (~ 30º) at 75mph with cruise control on and AC off. It's going to get around 20º warmer at the peak of summer so the road temps will be much higher over the next 10 weeks or so.
I also picked up a Mountune radiator from the sale. Just got it in today. It gets hot here and I am thinking of taking the car to a track day or autocross at some point down the road so figured I might as well get one for peace of mind.

Got the Mountune/CSF radiator. If you ever thought a radiator could not be a work of art or a thing of beauty..... well, you have to see one in person!

I did notice the sides bow out in the middle.

Yea it is beautiful it’s a shame it’s mostly hidden once installed. I can just barely see the m in the little hole haha
Yeah, shame for sure. But I'm sure there is SOME Engine Bay fanboy out there that could make a clear plastic cover to replace the black one. It would be the last thing I'd ever spend money on.

Who the fvck cares what it looks like under the hood.... It only make the fanboys feel better about it, yet when you're flooring the pedals, you think nothing of it. You don't accelerate and get hard imagining a shiny radiator, polished intake manifold and headers. Those days are gone and for many of you, before your time

All that matters, absolutely all that matters, is the it runs, runs fast, runs reliably and inexpensively. Anything else is fluff.

Wheels would be the exception Factory wheels on 90% of cars are horrid. My wheels look fluffy, but they are also functional at 17lbs 3oz. Window stickers are fluff. Go fast bumper sticker that adds 5hp? That is where it's at .. lol

Definitely NOT before my time, but then I NEVER really cared about under-hood 'bling' (or even from the factory engine bay appearances) at all.

Maybe because I am not a big car show fan?? [dunno]

Same as most add-on/aftermarket aero bodywork looks out of place to me (whether actually functional or not), unless one has ALL of the matching pieces (i.e.; full flares, etc.).

Now wheels, yeah, that's my 'sticking point', and I will go broke getting the ones I want, since to me, they 'make or break' the aesthetics of any car, and you do have to see them every time you walk up to your ride (unlike the under-hood flash), so why not love the way they look. [wink]

Exterior stickers are worth .25 hp for small ones & .5 hp for big ones....shiny ones are worth like 10-50 hp depending on size. Engine bay stickers...no gains. These are known dyno numbers and are undisputed.

Ordered a set of control arm bolts for the replacements for the front 2 point trac bar.

That was over a month ago. They still haven’t shipped. Does anyone know where I can find a set?

Went for a drive in the North Georgia mountains yesterday morning. This was my first time in the mountains since buying/installing the AP, and damn she rips. Even for being mild, the 93 octane tune really wakes up the car and I love having the gauges to know when I need to let her cool down for a bit.
