Switchback LED Turn Signals

The reverse lights were $13.99, tail/brake lights were $16.99 and the turn signals were $23.88, totaling $54.86. The reverse and tail/brake lights don't have resistors and the car isn't complaining about them. The turn signals should be here today, and I'll post an update on how they work.
One this you'll probably notice is some feedback through the radio. When I'm in reverse or when I hit the brakes I will get a little bit of feedback though the radio from the LED bulbs. Let us know if you experience this.

I hadn't noticed any feedback when I drove it today, but I just tried again and heard no difference in the FM radio with the lights on or off. I have a 4" Stubby antenna.

Were you able to get the turn signals installed? I installed the switchbacks and the work great. Just wondering if you needed resisters for the back bulbs you bought.

Just ordered a full set of LEDs for the back of the car:

Rear turn signals: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z34QY4X
Brake lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVT9D1W
Reverse lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074RFY776

I'm using these in my license plate lights, dome lights and cargo light:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRE38EA
A word of warning on these: one bulb in the pack I bought was shorted out internally. I had the bad luck to install it in one of the little map lights up front and it killed the circuit board in the dome light assembly. No idea why it didn't blow the fuse. All the rest worked fine.
How did the rear turn signals do?

How did the rear turn signals do?
They were delayed in the mail and I just got them this morning. No hyperflashing, and they are BRIGHT. I tested the radio in the AM band and didn't hear any difference with any of the lights on or off. I don't get very good reception on any AM stations to begin with, so your mileage may vary.

@lovell88 no hyperflashing with LED turn signals all around, including the mirrors.

Here's my current lighting setup:
Front switchback turn signals (3157): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XBN8T38
Low beam headlights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C1LTQ92
Headlight dust covers (83mm): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PTVMQKH
Front side markers, high beams and fog lights are still stock

Mirror turn signals: https://whoosh-motorsports.myshopif...signal-dynamic-led-lights-2014-2019-fiesta-st

Rear turn signals (3157): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z34QY4X
Brake lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVT9D1W
Reverse lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074RFY776

Everything works as expected on my otherwise stock 2019 North American Fiesta ST.

Hi @Buffaloboy, I purchased this same set-up for my 2017 U.S. FIST. The turn signal function isn't working and the blinker indicator moves rapidly inside the car. Is it possible I blew a fuse or something? Also, my stock passenger side marker isn't working.

EDIT/UPDATE: These just aren't working for me, unless it's a polarity issue. I was getting hyperflash on the dash indicator, but no turn signal activation at all on the actual lamp. Then, to cap things off, when I was checking the polarity issue on my passenger side headlight, one of the little metal tabs in the headlight housing broke. What a nightmare. So, I think I ruined my passenger headlight and I wasn't able to confirm if these have to be installed in the housing a certain way to actually get them to function as intended. I'm wondering if there's a photo that demonstrates the correct alignment in the housing?

I purchased my switchback LED turn signals bulbs for the front at Diode Dynamics. You're going to need resistors which is an extra 10 bucks if you don't install the resistors you're going to have hyper flash if you like that kind of thing cool if you don't buy the resistors. They've been installed on my car for the past 3 or 4 months now with no problems. If you want pictures where I put the resistors let me know. If you just want to see my fiesta ST let me know 🙂

There are new bulbs for sale which do not require resistors whether it is for just replacing the turn signals or for switchback turn signals.

That's what works here in the US. It's all we use.
Your lights may work for you in Indonesia, but our cars are made on another continent.

That may be true. However, i believe that it all depends on the socket types. The bulbs are the same as long as the socket types are the same. So if your turn signal bulbs have the py21w socket type, then there are bulbs for that socket type that doesn't need resistors.

Hi guys, all I know is I purchased the same lights as buffaloboy after he described them as 'plug and play' with no resisters needed and they did not work for me. I'm in the U.S. and so is he. So, not sure what the issue is.

I finally got around to putting in my turn signal bulbs that have the built in resistors and no hyper flashing, and I had my led reverse lights in but wouldn't light up. Flipped them around and they work and are bright even in the daytime.

So what kind of LED light bulbs are those?
These are led. They are intended for switchback function. That means that they can be wired up for drl (always on when the car is on) and turn signal combo or used as parking light and turn signal combo depending on how you wire up the white light output. Basically if there is no turn signal then it will be white color and when there is turn signal the white will be off and the orange will be on until the turn signal is off then it will revert back to white color. The video might help.

I had a brake light go out. So I just ordered the same brake lights. I also ordered the front turn signals. Hopefully everything works perfect with no wiring mods or resistors. Sounds like confirming polarity is important though.
