The above is kind of why I do not understand the compulsive rush to reach 400+ (and well beyond that, for some it seems) ponies to the wheels (and matching 'torques' as well LOL).
Unless it is just to see if it can be done out of 1.6 liters, for the hell of it, regardless of where that power 'comes on', and whether or not it is actually usable ANYWHERE (save for extra legal/criminal, even in 'Mexico' 60-150 roll racin').
Even then, how long until even a fully built bottom end grenades, or transaxle, and half shafts/CV joints self destruct at those insane power levels??
