Been a few months, car is in garage till the salt goes away. Ordered a Whoosh brand 2-pt front traction bar. Dark ice hood struts (wth why not). Engine mount inserts (street), Spec D tails, sequential mirrors on deck.

Was going to stay stock exhaust but I want some sound. Flowmaster/Thermal/Cobb are being considered, I have a couple months to figure it out. I THINK I like the FLowmaster sound best (barely), the Thermal fitment worries me a bit, the few vids I have seen under the car it looks wacky to me. Correct me if Im wrong by all means because its one of the only issues complicating my choice. Cobb is mild and fitment seems perfect..I dont know.

I need to get comfortable with this in the spring. Going to test TC settings OFF and 4-8 on 93 and E30 and have them changed through tuner, Dizzy, with some datalog revisions. I also want to try rev hang OFF as my default is ON

For 17’s I bought some Titans they weigh in a 17 pounds a wheel. Not nearly as light as Dekagrams but not bad at all for 17. Those OZ look nice and are probably in the 16-`17 pound range. Though they are like $300 a wheel. Now I have spent that kind of money on wheels in the past when I had Gramlights on my 240sx. Yet at the same time with the Konigs and Rota’s being so inexpensive and relatively lightweight and track tested. It‘s kind hard to see paying $300 a wheel for wheels for our cars.
Oh and ya you can buy Advanti Storms for less as well and they will be just as light as the OZ and Advanti‘s are used in Formula one. I considered Advanti Storms as well.

I also would go with the black Storms (IF you can still get those in that color anymore, in our fitment).

They ARE flow formed, and I'm not sure about the casting process for those OZeds.

Doing a littlle search now. The Oz Formula HLT's are approx 1300 shipped from UK. I saw a review from one guy said they needed a lot of tabs to balance, I take one off reviews with a grain of salt, but I keep it in mind. Dpro I appreciate the advice and input. I've actually never bought aftermarket wheels before I knew a little but this has been eye opening lol

I saw a review from one guy said they needed a lot of tabs to balance, I take one off reviews with a grain of salt, but I keep it in mind. Dpro I appreciate the advice and input. ya quite often with wheels there is more than meets the eye. Dekagrams are flow formed like the Advanti’s as well. The Titans are not but they are light for a cast wheel and they look good .

Having owned both Konig and Rota for a bit now, a few things:

• The Konig dekagram is a really nice wheel. I'm impressed with the construction and finish, so much so I bought a second set.
• The titans are the best looking 17" wheel on the Fiesta IMO, but I have been very disappointed in the finish of my Rotas. They are in Bronze and the spray is inconsistent and flakes really badly from simple driving. I can't stress this enough. The finish on these are pure garbage. If I could have gone back in time I would have refinished them in powder coat before having tires mounted.

Also FWIW Advanti is a brand made by Konig

Actually, I should clarify. Both are brands made by the same company - YHI International. But in the US Konig American is the distributor for Advanti. They are likely made on the same production lines using the same tools and equipment.

Interesting as you use to be able to get Advanti through Tire Rack but not anymore.
Though it kinda makes sense because how many wheel companies have invested in flow form tech for manufacturing? It would seem logical that a lot of the flow formed wheels are coming out of one or two factories. I know Enkei is using flow formed tech as well.

The only reason I went with the (heavier) Pro Race 1.2s over the Storms way back when I first got them is because I've wanted the Team Dynamics wheels for the longest of time, and finally had a car for which they made a fitment, so I jumped on them.
(I had been jonesing for them ever since I saw pics of them on the BTCC {British Touring} cars in the '90s. ).

I found a thread on here about the Storms last night. It seemed like those with stock suspension didn't have any problems. Some running camber and some on coilovers required spacers. If spacer was needed I wouldn't run them. I do like the Storms, cheaper than the OZ, domestic access. I'm gonna have to think on this a bit.

Konig Hexaform and Hypergram are both available in 17x8, +40 offset, 4x108 FWIW. Flow form, good construction, and low weight. If you're set on a 17" wheels they are good options

Looking like the Advanti Storms. Cheaper and domestic. Hoping I can pick them up for shy of 8 hundo vs the 1300+ it would take to get the OZ from UK. Thanks for bringing them to my attention

Randomly ran into this on ebay...I fell in love with red 3 dr. What an angry little girl! I am guessing this thing would be a nightmare to get fitted. If this bolted up to stock mounting points I would pay what they are asking!
