Ignore my dirty floor, but that is my clutch pedal stuck all the way down. About to attempt to fix it my self but if it’s what I think it is, I’ll just take it to Ford.

This has happened to me a couple of times, usually when it's really hot outside. I just tuck my toe under the pedal and pull it back. Hasn't happened in a few weeks now (knock on wood lol).

Another shoutout to ron@whoosh, ordered the power flex race inserts for both trans and passenger side along with the ARP bolt. Delivery was super quick even during covid. Air freshener was definitely a nice plus can't wait until install these on Saturday.

Here I have a bit of a 2 month update on my EZLip Pro. Some gaps have formed and the ends my the wheel have started to peel. That being said it has been through some serious storms and gone through massive puddles due to the infamous Florida summer. Also, dust and sand has collected in the gaps where adhesive was still showing.

To fix this, I got some alcohol and a microfiber cloth and cleaned the gap areas on both the splitter and the bumper, and used some wider 3M automotive tape to help fix it, with some moderate success. In some spaces it is visible when you get upclose. Also some cue-tips with alcohol to help with the dirt in the tiny gaps.

My verdict, holds well enough and is easy to "fix" the issue. Looks fine aesthetically from a distance, and serves it's main purpose of protecting your bumper from scrapes.

Nice update. I'm not sure how long I've had the lip on the car and I really haven't been driving all that much with the whole work-from-home-deal. I know that I've scraped mine once or twice on some unexpected dips in the road, but nothing major and I haven't had any extreme weather.

It's good to know that you can repair it like that if necessary.

Mountune lowering springs installed on the car yesterday, had it done by Mountune (probably wouldn't do that method again, it was $250 just for the install). So far, not gonna lie I'm a bit underwhelmed. I got lowering springs largely for aesthetics, and I thought that the ~1" drop in the Mountune would be perfect, now I'm thinking maybe I should have gone with the H&R Sports. I'll leave them on for a month at least so they can settle fully, then I'll have to see what I think.

I installed my Mountune Springs several months ago. I got 3/4 of an inch drop all around after settling. The car doesn't appear lowered to me. It just looks it would have come from the factory this way. I expected a more significant drop. In fact the only way I know it dropped is by the tape measure before and after.

Did you do your springs and Koni's at the same time? Or was it springs first? I'm wondering your experience regarding the way the car drove with just the springs changed

This is the reason I sold the Mountune springs I bought. Barely any drop and almost the same handling characteristics. I got Swifts instead and couldn't be happier, the inch drop i got was just enough to keep me happy, and not too low where I scrape everywhere. Plus they're linear spring rate which is enough of a reason alone to get them.

Well got out of work early today and decided to install the powerflex inserts instead of waiting until Saturday. I know these mount inserts have been out for awhile but for anyone who hasn't done them or is thinking about doing them, definitely do it. Went with the race mounts and for me personally I only noticed a slight increase in NVH while at idle. But wow, these really clean up any slop leftover that the RMM or short shift kit and bushings left behind. Gear throws feel crisper and the power delivery feels more accurate if that makes any sense. For $85 bucks shipped it should be on the to do list for modding.

About how long did both sides take you, approximately?

(I want to do the Vibra-Technics ones once they are back in stock.)

The passenger side took about 35 minutes, only because the upgraded ARP bolt was being fickle but managed it in just fine. The trans mount took about 45 minutes and was definitely more involved with moving the battery tray and so forth. Couldn't believe all the rust though on the smaller bolts.
