I'm not getting any steering wheel vibration, running stock rims on Potenza RE050As. I've read a few Bimmer forums where they're complaining about similar issues. The thing is I had a new G35 back in '06 and those came from the factory with RE050As as well and I don't remember any steering issues and I had that thing up to 130ish on the highway a few times.

I'm definitely going to go in for an alignment and perhaps try a new tire. I also came across an older thread here where someone mentioned turning off the ESC. Gave that a quick try on the highway here and may have felt a little different but will have to try it on the same stretch of highway where I was experiencing the tramlining.

Long Shot but wondering if you were able to fix it ? My 2014 behaves exactly like yours. Thanks

The suspension and steering are EXTREMELY sensitive to small changes.
Stock power my car is all over the lane since it was hit while parked.
I could only imagine how hard it would be to control if the power was altered.
Getting all the alignments in the world won't help it.
Part of the issue is the steering gear has a sdubid amount of slack and is off-center.
The other part of it is the EPAS now needs to be recalibrated as it's operating from pre-wreck, pre-alignment settings.
