at the same time an AWD fiesta that isnt WRC spec would be AWESOME
An AWD Fiesta that IS an actual WRC spec would be awesome as well, just really really impractical for the street.
But IF I had unlimited coin, that is
exactly what I would do, instead of buying a 'gold chain' exotic, to show off as a 'rolling Rolex', I would 'waste' it on
reverse engineering an R5, or WRC Fiesta to be street legal somehow (i.e.; build it sans cage if states don't allow that on the street, or if everyone deems it way too dangerous without wearing a helmet every time one gets in the car).
With enough coin, rebuilding the sequential box every 3K miles (or having a 'rotating cast' of many of them ready to replace) would not hurt, or matter.
Registration and inspection would be the only real problems/set backs in some areas.
As an added benefit, for
me at least, is that you get a 2 door Fiesta as well, WIN WIN.
