I use to have all black cars and got really tired of always seeing them dirty. Then we went to all white cars which can appear clean for so much longer... but feel bland without contrasting accessories. After I ceramic coated the 14, I absolutely love this color as well. Unfortunately this one is for my pops.
Ahh I understand that struggle with black cars. Your dad is lucky to get such a cool car!

I demand Customized plates that say Dave's!
The craziest part in regards to picking the car up is that it is the first time in and out of L.A. (5 hours back and forth) that I did not see a single ST. No FIST, FOST, or otherwise.

On another note... My 2.3 Ecoboost Explorer performed amazing pulling 5800lbs (uhaul trialer is an insane 2200lbs alone and then I had both the car and back of the explorer full of parts), even over the grapevine and then through 50mph desert gusts. I was very impressed.

Fixing my broken wing mounts with JB weld plastic Bonder. Took my wing off and noticed 3 were broken, so my wing was only hanging on by 3 bolts. We’ll see how the JB weld hold up. Feels rock solid after letting cure for a few hours. Time to sand and paint.

Lol maybe 6 years of AZ sun? Too much bass? A bad early batch in the QC department? Not sure, I’ve never taken it off, never had wing risers and I always hand wash. I pulled it off to install risers and noticed the brokenness.

Completed my whoosh induction. The crossover pipe makes it even louder than just the intake and noodle. It sounds awesome!!

Or created a smaller mounting point and rattled the spoiler to death. Never liked the idea of spoiler extensions. But to each their own i guess....hope it turned out [emoji106]!

I’ll be honest I didn’t either when I first got mine, but the look grew on me. I got a boomba knock off set for $0.00 from Ali express because it took over 2 months to get it so they gave me a refund. Hell it was only $25 to begin with. Thanks it turned out great!

The Delta full panel 'filler' piece is not bad, but I don't think that any of this helps the down force one iota, just causes more drag and turbulence. [:(]

The delta panel is really nice but pricey for what it is. The increase in drag would be so small I don’t think it would do anything worse or better for the car. It’s just for looks.

I just installed the delta piece and I don’t think the price was too bad. They shipped it next day air too, which was cool.

The kid who bought my wheels had one of these (I was also shocked when he rolled up with a set of BRAIDs on his car). Looked like a good piece, certainly better than small metal extensions. No idea on how the rear air is. I could see it working better as you're increasing the angle of attack (of this flat air-brake of a wing) but also you provide a nice channel to shove air under the wing which is not really a good thing. Might help clean-up the rear wake as you're providing a channel for air to integrate back into the pressure bubble, however sometimes that can be advantageous like in a Kammback. This is not one of those cars.

I would wager a simle gurney flap would be better for these cars on the rear.

Which Braids did he have?
Was it an orange spice FiST??

Please don't tell me that those are getting as popular/common as the Dekas and 1.2s I already have. [:(]

Agree on the Gurney Flap, I wish that someone made a secure (and TESTED/proven) one for our rides. [wink]

So on top of my blend door failing, my left passenger side fog light is dead, my horn is getting weak as if last night, slow leak again from my tps, and my clutch pedal is getting stuck. So at this point I wonder what’s next.
