Maybe one of yous can be a donor for my ass transplant. I have Ravenol in my tranny, but I didn’t really notice any appreciable difference in shifting from the OEM liquid. Same goes with the Powerflex engine mount inserts - have them on both sides, but not a whole lot of torque steer reduction — as some claim it completely removed the TS.

Maybe Ford sprinkled some fairy dust on my car when they made it, and it made it as good as it would ever be, bolt-ons or not...
Congrats! You got the Unicorn! (y)

New NGK one step colder spark plugs from whoosh! Installed by myself, first time in my life! I feel as if the car is a bit more responsive now but unsure.
The 16 mm socket fell in and stayed with the spark plug for a while, lol, but figured out how to remove it. Then I taped the socket to the wrench shaft with electric tape and it worked, did not fell off again.
But the symposer is a b)&@ch! The clamp is at the worst place it can be, not easy access to it. I’ll try again later.

yes symposer delete is a bitch; took me several attempts over the course of a few weeks. Be patient; try not to loose your shit and you will get it eventually.

^^^It's almost as if Ford did not want us to delete that 'system'!

But they were probably just making damn well SURE that there were no boost leaks from that crap, with the adhesive and high tension spring clamp they used.

Composer clamp is easy peasy. The secret? You must buy or borrow extra long needle nose pliers with a 45-degree Bend. They are about a foot long.

I removed the symposer without any special tools.Push it back and to the left and you can use a pair of vice grips to squeeze the clamp which should lock open. The clamp will have fused itself to the hose. I had to use a pair of flat screwdrivers as the clamp wouldn't lock and I broke off the tab. One screwdriver was used to open the clamp and the other screwdriver can now push down on the clamp.Once the symposer is out, you have easy access to the bottom clamp if it needs to be removed.

First attempt at rear brakes went well, until.......frozen slider bolts
F^king caliper slide bolts - both lowers are frozen. Which is why the 2nd oem pad set burned out in a year. Tool marks indicate an attempt to drive them out (chisel) done by the Ford dealer who new I'd never be back. Well, on order from Rock, yellow stuff pads in (and smoking...), stop tech rotors on. At least their not squealing!
Got the slider brackets from Rock - fucking magic. Ten minutes per side, but that one pad and rotor took some heat damage. May try and R&R the old sliders but these would appear to be a mandatory replacement when doing rear pads.

Installed my Pierce lower tie bar. How the heck do you guys torque down the bolts? I had the car on ramps but my torque wrench has no room to move under the car, its too long. I wasn't able to get it to spec, just pretty tight. Suggestions?

I was debating between A/S verses Ultra high performance. As i have Hankook rs4s on the TD pro’s.
That's why I went with the Neo Gens on my one set of Dekas, as I thought that I needed something that is at least labeled an all season (they are probably about as close to a pure UHP summer tire as an all season could ever get), since these are my most of the year daily driver wheel/tire setup.
They need to be able to handle the (mostly dry) cold in our area at those times of the year.

I already have two other sets of wheels which have 200 tread wear gumballs on them, so I was not going to put even a 300/340 tread wear summer donut on my year round setup.

Torque is like 45lb ft or something then another 180 degrees. I got mine to 90 degrees and I don't know how you can get it to 180. Seemed WAY too tight
