@Phishy I curbed one of my Bronze Deka's a month ago, so I feel ya. They are "cheap" enough to order another if they can be had, but I had Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Paint in Bronze laying around.

https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-HWP105-Bronze-Performance-Wheel/dp/B003TQD9AK

It is not an exact match but if you lightly sand down the curbed area and use a small paint brush to lightly paint layers up; it will go a long way. You can tell when you are looking very closely but even my buddies were pretty impressed with what I was able to cover up.

Thanks for that tip! [thumb]

I fell down a flight of stairs on Tuesday, and ordered up my black Dekagrams and 225/45-16 Yok A052s, but probably will not even put them together, or on the car, until it gets much warmer (like stays at least 55*F AT NIGHT!).

I REALLY need to end this wheel/tire addiction I have (and sell some of the setups I now own). [:(]

Christ you guys need to be more careful.

Didn't ever think a Mr. Magoo epidemic would be such a problem.

installed this. noticed nothing different as ive been saying since the beginning. and im going to say since my car is a 2017 it must be upgraded to the older years cause ive had three different mount set ups and only difference is a minor change in nvh and a very small difference in shifter feel. night and day? nope

That's odd, since I noticed a big difference right away.

The difference for me was super noticeable on hard 1-2 and 2-3 shifts for the better. I noticed almost no increase in NVH.

Yellow is the street Whoosh. (Which is what I have.)
Didn’t know that. But i know that one gives the least performance even advertised at minimal NVH. I wouldn’t expect that one to have a drastic change in performance. Now the Race spec with the 87a bushings you’d notice a lot more or if you chose something like AWR 88a which i installed a couple hours ago. It’s a big difference compared to stock.

My Cobb mount made a huge difference.. My FiST is a late 2014 build.. Before I installed the new mount it was sloppy as fk... So much more solid in the front after the upgrade.

I HAD THE 2J RACE INSERT BEFORE. OH BOY WAS THAT HORRIBLE. AND I THINK I EVEN HAD IT FOR 20K

I HAD A MOUNETUNE FOR A WHILE BUT IT STARTED KNOCKING. AGAIN THESE ARE ISSUES I THINK NOBODY HAS BUT I ALSO HAVE A TON OF MILES. THE BUSHING CAME OUT THE HOUSING FREELY AND YOU COULD SEE THE CENTER WAS WORN CAUSING PLAY AND A HARD KNOCK

So I’m relation to my last o post, I found the route cause of my tpms situation. It’s my valve stem leaking once again after I replaced it 6 months ago. Notice it when I was cleaning my wheels earlier, don’t know how I missed that.

I think I just have bad luck with valve stems. May just order dekagrams to make me feel better

^^^One of the reasons I just install the short, TR 412 'trailer' valve stems in all of my aftermarket wheels.
IF the Ford system gave us a dash readout of each tire's individual actual pressure, ACCURATELY, then I would bother with the TPMS in all of my wheels. [wink]

Yeah, I know; "but what about slow leaks" and all, but I check the pressure at least twice a week, obsessively

I did not actually do anything to the car, except for diluting the coolant a bit (pumped out whatever was in the overflow tank, and filled it with 100% distilled water), since I had too much pure coolant in the system for the winter, and charged the battery.

But I did pick up the black Dekas/A052s from Fed Ex today.

Those (225/45-16) Yoks are W-I-D-E!!
I am almost worried that they will rub, even at factory (or higher!) ride height.
Wicked looking tire though, very 'square shouldered' almost like some companies' actual tarmac rally tread patterns. [:)]
