Found a new sound like a flat tire on front driver side but my tire isn’t flat. Nothing is hanging off or rubbing that I can see. Going to take my wheel off tomorrow and see. Also noticed my fog light is flickering, hoping it has something to do with that.

You need a hook tool to pull out the one clip that is actually a cover over the clip to lock it.
In all honesty those indicators are garbage I threw mine in the trash. The fit and finish was shit.

I should have really looked again before I posted. Right. But - with the right tools I could NOT get the last (I think) one of the 3 (I think). Maybe I should have another go at it...

That’s right, they ARE clips. I forgot. What I do remember is how much PITA it was so I gave up and never went back to another attempt. The YT videos made it look very easy, but one of the clips is a bitch and I couldn’t get to it. Was afraid to break it off.
Yep, after watching a youtube vid i figured it's be a cake walk. WRONG. I know exactly what clip you're talking about, its the third one or the one that is all the way on the outside. I know because I broke the first one, that clip actually has a cap that needs to be removed before you can get to it and you need a pick to remove the cap. Its actually kinda ridiculous how hard it is for something you will never see working.

I curbed my left front at a Chicago-area toll booth. I've navigated those toll booths since I was a teenager. Hundreds, if not thousands of times.

There was just something wrong with the concrete pour. The shape of it. It was unlike any other toll booth, ever.

I, of course, have no recourse. Fortunately, it wasn't that bad, but still... That wheel was fine a second earlier.
This is a factory wheel?

I did not cry/fret too much when I hurt one of these, since I really don't like them aesthetically (even besides their weight penalty), and it gave me an excuse to get the Dekagrams as daily drivers with a meaty profile tire on them to handle the cratered roads around here.
About the worst thing for me is that I will get less for them now when I eventually do sell them once the 0% note is fully paid off.

But yeah, it still hurts some either way. [:(]

The locking clip will come off super easy with a hook. If that locking clip is removed it will come off but the amount of pressure you have to apply is ridiculous.

Safe to say now after some driving and watching the temperatures it's all working as it should in the cooling system department after the new thermostat was installed yesterday. Only the last month it was noticeable as the weather is a lot colder now.

Curb the shit out of one of my 2 week old Deks. Never curbed a wheel in my life... Taco John's drive thru was not worth it today.
I am sorry to hear that. Luckily my tires have saved my slipstreams quite a few times. I sure wouldn't be happy about it if it were me, but after being away from a 6pk and a Pound for a decade, the Potatoe Ole's would help take the edge off. I friggin miss Potatoe Ole's

I will have to go out in the morning and look. I had mine off in less than a minute each side to change the bulbs to LED's. I remember using a pick set. Just can't remember if I used a straight or angled

Got the whoosh rear motor mount in. Thanks Ron! Just got back from the first drive with it in around the block and wow this is how it should drive! Nice and crispy shifts. I love it.
True dat...I have the same Whoosh Street rmm. After 9 months, I finally pulled the trigger on the Powerflex inserts for upper MM and Trans mount. lol.... How are they? Step aside son, I'm coming through! slight nvh (same w/AC on or off), but nothing like the AWR RMM did for me. Why did I wait....

Wheel bearing? Is it louder when you turn right? If so do this:

To check a wheel bearing, the first step is to jack up the Fiesta and support it on jack stands so that the tire is about three or four inches off the ground. Place one hand on top of the tire and the other on the bottom of the tire, and try and force the wheel in and out of the wheel well.

If the bearing is in good condition there should be no play. If there is significant play in other directions, you may have a problem in the steering system or suspension of the car, but as long as there is no play with your hands in the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions the bearings themselves pass this test. Good luck!

Haha nice! I eventually want to get the powerflex inserts. How was the install? For now I’m happy with just the RMM. I had slight vibration when I fired up, mirrors were shaking! but 5 mins around the block at the stop light and I couldn’t tell vibration difference between whoosh and stock. Should’ve been my first mod.

It was indeed a flat tire....which is weird cause it didn’t visually look flat. So I just pumped it up and seen that it was reading 15psi. That would also explain why my tps light has been on for 4months.....

Ummm, yeah. That's what the TPMS light is for. To tell you to check the pressure in your tires.

That’s the weird thing I checked my pressure on all my tires when the light came on originally. Pressure was correct on all tires, even tried it with a different gauge to make sure. So I just assumed it was a faulty sensor cause I did have a faulty one in the past.
