Okay you've sold me on this. I just did a Symposer delete, so what would normally be the hardest part is already done.

I have no excuse!
And it sounds so much better under big boost/load. And the sound will vary depending on boost... from a light flutter to a shriek!

Finally installed a pierce motorsports chassis brace. Now I see what all the fuss is about. It greatly decreases torque steer which is still surprising to me. Turn in response also appear to be much quicker.

Now to figure out how to get the skid plate to clear it..

^^^Yeah, that's probably gonna take a HUGE stack of washers used as spacers, or a really big block of aluminum drilled through, and MUCH longer bolts, to clear that one, why I won't even chance the much flatter Mountune one, if I could even find one now that they've dropped it from their catalog. [:(]

I guess you could just weld tall threaded blocks onto the cross member?

Well I got the part.. Just gotta figure out if I want to remove the whole front end to install it or just go through the top and remove the alternator completely and other bits...

Looks like you'll have to take the front off.

Here's a link to the rest. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1LRzzAI9lYisuwCdLBrWmg/search?query=thermostat

You'd think they could have made it easier to get to. I've changed a thermostat or 2 in my day, and it wasn't nearly this involved.

The rear mounting points need to be spaced somewhere between 3/4"-1.5". It's really not as bad as you say. I may also try bending the skid a little bit.

Good luck. Maybe you can make a how-to video if you succeed.

Found the leak. This time its the heater hose that connects to the fire wall, the top one of the two. It runs towards the front of the car past the battery. Hope Ford has one in stock tomorrow!
