No, the S280 numbers are posted for 93 octane on stock fueling on the website I purchased it from.
Yeah those numbers are pushed to the max on the stock fuel system on a dyno and your going off accessport numbers. Whoever tuning their setups is gonna push them to the max for advertising. That and there are a million factors that go into dyno results.

Imagine if you ponied up $1,600 for a S280 after already having spent the same on a GT2860RS that ultimately had the same numbers, literally. How'd that feel? There's literally no mechanical excuse for my S280 having the same WTQ as a disco potato IMHO.

So having had both, which would you choose now. By your butt Dyno and not looking at the numbers. Is there any performance difference between the two that you can tell and what is it?

I thought Turbo Technics said to not push it over 26 psi.
I believe that is a sustained number. Peaking above 26psi is fine, it would be an issue if you held above that to redline.

Nah that's just the "saves their ass figure". I'll be pushing 32psi up top all said and done. Hell I made 29+psi on a hybrid to redline.

I mean you can look at graphs for both and the s280 is gonna spool alot faster and have a broader power band. On stock fueling they will make similar peak power and tq.

I've got to change my MAP sensor before I go for something like that :(

I slacked on posting the log, here it is.

https://datazap.me/u/magnetisest/log-1588644577?log=0&data=4-7

This is the 4th revision on 93 & 50/50 water/meth. 375ml nozzle, snow performance stage2 kit.
Power/torque look excellent for 93 octane. Where did you install the meth nozzle? I noticed your charge temps rise quick, especially for a 3rd gear pull. I'm curious if the nozzle is upstream or downstream of the TIP sensor (charge temp reading).

Any particular reason you went with the snow performance kit instead of AEM?

Its just before the throttle body, if you can picture where the symposer port is, its directly opposite that, its he CP-e methcharge pipe. It almost direclty injects into the TB. That means its after the TIP sensor haha.

It was a gift, but honestly I installed the AEM in a friends car and while its nice, the Snow Performance gauge is a really nice thing to have. The AEM just has a controller, and thats hidden away in the glovebox in his car. The gauge is also the "brain" if you will, its where you set it all up. Its a nice kit, the only downside is that the standard tank is only 3qt VS AEM with 1 gallon. I can get the 2.5gal tank from Snow, but I'm going to see how long it lasts after tuning is done.

Anyone running the S280 in conjunction with a whoosh catless downpipe?
I am Jason, and you are tuning my set up right now. I have to say I am very impressed with your abilities so far. Smooth, hard, even pull right to the rev limiter. Looking forward to the Aux Fuel tune!!

Hello friends, I hope everyone is well.

I am planning to purchase a tt s280, however I have some doubts that with your experience can help me better prepare my planning.

Well first, my goal is to achieve at least 270 hp for my daily driving car, did not want to use ethanol or any type of fuel mixtures, I will always use 93 octane.
can i achieve those hp without the need to put a wastegate and keeping the OEM downpipe?
my modifications so far are:
Depo Racing intercooler
drop in filter ramair
k & n intake hose
whoosh crossover pipe
rear motor mount torque solutions
one step colder spark plugs
DV + VTA GFB
symposer delete

I will greatly appreciate your comments

In the specs of the Depo Racing display 350 hp capable.
I'm not saying that their information is wrong, but 350hp out of a 2867 and 350 out of a hybrid / S280 are wildly different. Yes it may support 350hp but only up to a max temperature for the inlet air. The smaller the turbo, the hotter the compressed air is. I am telling you from personal experience, upgrade the intercooler.

You can keep the wastegate that is provided with the S280 for your goals, and you should be able to retain the stock downpipe as well.

Ok gotcha
What you think is the best option of intercoolers for my goals?
