Bought oil and oil filter today, will do it at work tomorrow in my lunch break.. 5000 km oil and filter change. Any longer feels wrong now. Can actually feel that the engine needs it when I get close to 5000 km. Definitely notice that it needed it after the change by the way it behaves.. IMO.

Lost Boy Racing. I'm the only FiST with his kit as I was the test car. He decided to not go forward due low interest and appears to have even stopped making his FoST kits - website is no longer live.

I feel the same way, but around 4,000 miles. Might just be in my head, but oh well. Peace of mind is important.

Hi all, today was pretty cold 11 to 8 degrees C. I warmed the car up and and drove gently till it got to about 70 degrees. We went up a hill to a scenic spot but when we went back down the engine temperature got as low as 46 degrees... My thermostat must be stuffed? Because the heater wasn't as hot as it should be either so it's not like the temperature sensor is out... Couldn't give it the beans because the temperature is too low.. Just cause engine damage. And even the cars OEM temperature gauge showed 3 bars. I use the torque pro app to monitor the engine information. Looks like a big job to replace the thermostat too..

good luck, I tell ya, that was one of the most pain in the rear end things I did. I hope your symposer comes off easier than mine.
I was fortunate as it appears the previous owner had already taken the symposer off at least once before. I wiggled it and it practically fell off  And I'm not a strongman by any means.

Only took about 5 minutes thank goodness.

i tried it when i first bought it and gave up, tried like a month later and gave up, then when i got the induction hose i told myself while i have all that stuff off i WILL get this thing off. took a long time, my symposer seemed either glued on or had melted on i had to pry it off with a flat head
