I love this car, but I loathe launching and first gear. I can beat Genesis coupe 2.0T, rx8, GTI and stock FoST with a bad driver from a stop. Waiting for a WRX or Civic Si to take the bate... G35/37 would be tough (they are quick!) but could maybe do on a roll. In the canyons though, The list gets MUCH longer and more expensive. I'd like to run in a canyon with a s2000, BRZ, Cayman for curiosity sake. Maybe even a liter sport bike in a very twisty canyon [lovest]

Beat a brand new Ecoboost mustang and ran door to door with an e46 M3 today. Dizzy e30 flash.

2016 Fist Here, I have a stratified revision tune and 1 step colder plugs/full bolt ons/intercooler/intake/totally catless, I hang w charger RT's I walk by civic type R's walk by focus st's and stock RS I walk by. I did delete the whole back seat and back rests. saved Maybe 50 lbs or so. I slightly walk by mustang ecoboost coupes and smoke the v6 mustangs. I can walk the sedan genesis 5.0's from a dig and the 4.6 modded. but as soon as we hit 90 they start quickly moving by me. I don't stand a chance against the mustang 5.0 or Camaro SS's.

I have total about $2800.00 in parts, the car prob runs to 60 (if I had full traction.. IF...and NO wheelspin issues) in low 5's and quarter in 13-13.4 (again IF I had no wheelspin and full grip).

so its a fast car, I mean a 20 roll race you can really rip, it surprises the shit out of people. WRX/STI's I smoke all dayyyyy I haven't been taken by one yet.

The Ecoboost mustang can vary wildly in actual measured performance depending on what kind of final drive, diff, trans, and tires it has. Considering the highest volume spec drives essentially like a rental car I’m not particularly surprised to see that a tuned FiST would knock one down, in what I assume was the appropriate spec.

The most surprising thing I ran when stock turbo was an auto GTO. It was door to door. The e30 tunes are so much fun. The ecoboost stang was given the gap and looked like it had the performance pack (wheels). It was bone stock and still had the temp tags.
