Just picked up a Blue ST Fiesta seems like a legit vehicle so far but the sunroof is pretty far back in the car

Yeah, the moonroof/sunroof isn't the to-be-bragged-about feature of the car. I've got one, but only because it was on a car that was otherwise exactly as I wished. Mine's Race Red, with Recaro package. And I love driving it. Looking forward to more spring weather, when perhaps the sunroof will start to earn its keep. But that'll never be why I bought the car!

Does this car have a break in period at all? Just curious before I get on it. First turbo car
The manual asks you not to drive at a single engine speed for an extended period of time till around 1000 miles. I found that a lot of members kept their engine speeds below 3000 rpm during that period and got the oil change around the 1000 mile mark as well, if not sooner.

[welcome] -- Today was beautiful out (65degrees),and I had the sunroof open, yes it is placed back some, but I rolled my seat back about 3 clicks and was pretty damn near under it and I'm only 5'9". It felt awesome!(haven't had sunroof in the last 3 cars). I just accept it as a compromise for when I have passengers in the back riding with the sunroof open they'll get some of to,if that ever happens [8D]. Was really nice having it open today cruising around, loved it. Oh well back to rain tommorow and then in the 30's for the rest of the week [facepalm] [dunno].

Normally switch to full synthetic after first 1000 miles?

I just did my first oil change a couple of weeks ago when i hit 850-900miles and just had them put the regular motorcraft 5w-20 synthetic in it(cost me a whole $33) at the dealer. I don't think it's a full synthetic though?[dunno] I plan to go that route next oil change at 3500-4000miles. Everyone goes about it differently though, just telling you what I'm doing [like]

Well at 1000 mile oil change you'll know if there are metal shavings in it!
