Flushed my cooling system because a guy at work gave me some (what I was told coolant) now my whole cooling system is full of this pink gunge.. [emoji37] any ideas for cleaning it out like which chemical works best?

Installed the whoosh trunk brace and then took it for a quick spin. I want to think it made a difference but I cant say for sure. Feels a bit tighter.

Did it quell any of the 'tinny' feel. or any rattles/buzzing you had in the hatch area AT ALL (or did you not have any of that before the install?)?

I hear EVERYTHING since my car is basically gutted behind the front seats, except for the carpet and door panels.

Topped off the original battery on my '15 with some distilled water. It was built in August of 2014.
You must NOT EVER listen to the sound system with the engine off (like I regrettably do, to the under 3 year death of my factory battery [:(]) even for a couple of seconds.

I tried several time and after getting frustrated gave up each time. eventually I got a new induction hose and when I had that out I attempted again. I had some really long bent nose pliers. you just got work it in there, but for me once I got that clamp off and moved down the hose the battle just began. it was like my hose was glued to the symposer. I had to use a flat head to pry it off. super pain but its on now.
WHY I opted for deleting that little hose altogether, once off of the charge pipe nipple, and going with the expansion plug, and silicone cap symposer delete route. [wink]

I've attempted to install my symposer delete probably 4 times, and every tool and strategy I try never seems to get those crappy clamps of the charge pipe. I'm sure I'll get it eventually, but to you have any tips?
Yeah it's frustrating. Even having the right clamp pliers and hose pick it still sucked the second time around on a different FiST. Having the whole cold side charge pipe out helped a little but the clamps still stupid

My car is still pretty new, just over 5,000 miles, so I didn't have any rattling or buzzing yet.
I want to say it makes the car feel more solid but I can't say for sure. It could just be my imagination

Interesting. I have killed the battery twice leaving the interior dome light on, but ran the car long enough after each time to fully recharge it. The climate in my location might be a little more forgiving than yours. :p

I will admit that I may have also 'overcooked' it to an earlier death with charging it on a crappy Husky charger, while ironically trying to extend it's life until Odyssey released their AGM in our size/spec. [:(]

How did you know where the leak was
At first I didn't. I thought it was that little tube above in the photo (degas tube I think it's called) because I had a botch up on there for years and I always thought it had a slow leak, I recently replaced it with genuine tube and thought that had already failed. Then when I seen the steam pouring out the bonnet I knew it was a big leak and I only happened to find it by looking in behind the engine while I was filling the cooling system up with water, could see it gushing out somewhere and then put my hand down and felt a gaping hole in a rubber tube. Luckily I never let it overheat!!

Just saw this post, I feel your pain, I made a video a while back that gives some tips and tricks on this, maybe it will help:

Between those clamps being a PITA and that hose pipe being glued on and barely any room to work it's no fun, but it can be done. I think some folks had the clamps positioned from the factory in a way that they were accessable; some others (like me) had them positioned that even with all the right tools it's about impossible to get. Finally did though. Hope that helps.
