You might be able to find a liquid level gauge like this.... just gotta know the thread pitch of the plugs.

.
Or a sight glass plug

Thanks! I might have a look into that but honestly I have had enough lol. I still have to install a new coolant line, that little hard black plastic line that runs across above the radiator and past the battery..

All buttoned up and shifting great. Best money ever spent on this car.

I would just leave it boot-less for that cool race/rally 'look', as that thing is way too 'purdy' to cover up! [wink] [thumb]

It would look really cool with no console at all, if you could cover up all of the wires/etc. then exposed, but that would look out of place without a fully gutted interior, and without full race seats/steering wheel.

Damn man that sucks. I literally just bought one on amazon because it was so cheap. So it was the lower fitting where the tube goes in? Maybe I can put another layer of something around it to seal it better when mine comes.

Found it was coming out the lower fitting of the clear tube where it goes into the black part. Ripped it all off today and plugged them up with brass bungs.

It's a joke.. I thought it was leaking from the threads at first, the clear tube had a bow in it right from the beginning like it was just that tiny bit too long but I thought nothing of it and assumed it's been pressure tested ECT. Yea maybe the heat just made it give way at the weakest point or could have been damaged right from the start. Probably just a one in a thousand.. try not disturbing it too much as it's only weak and cheap budget materials. IMO. After not long the once clear tube gets stained pink and makes it near impossible to see the level anyway and I already had to remove the cap the check the level. No loss to me at all.

someone's getting some love. I get to replace their clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, axle seals and fluid in the trans and maybe a flywheel depending on the condition. Turbo is leaking oil too so might looking to upgrade too whoever it is.

But can you rest your elbow on the center console and shift it at the same time?

Came in for a noisy throwout bearing. 2014 ST with 80K on it. Stupid that I had to set the downpipe aside to get to one of the tansmission bolt. Oh well h

Yesterday, I washed and Collinite 476ed it, as I do not know if/when we will get enough of a Jan./Feb. 'thaw' this year to do be able to do this again before late March. [:(]

What does that sound like? Because mines actually booked to go into the dealer for warranty work on feb 2nd, as I have what seems like a rattling noise from the front end that goes away when warmed up.

I replaced this coolant line yesterday. Almost 2 years running with my own botched up 6 dollar hose lol this was meant to be done years ago...
I added photos of the factory tube that failed, it connects that hard plastic tube to the engine..
