Another Mishimoto product issue....not surprised. Hopefully they help you out! If not....go back to good old OEM. Their customer service can be atrocious....Good luck!

Mishimoto seems to have a lot of issues with their products. Their old Oil Catch Can leaked too. Might wanna steer away from them in the future.
Yea makes me regret choosing their brand that's for sure, I never knew they were prone to that beforehand. But one day a while back I was giving the car some lead foot and going through the gears then all of a sudden at peak boost I heard a loud bang under the hood and engine lost all power and was acting like it was out of fuel, got off the road and turned the engine off thinking the worst. Pop the hood and the mishimoto oil catch can pcv line had blown off the hose connector... Luckily for us I had the stock factory pcv line in the boot so just clipped that on to get home. Crap brand and would not recommend to anyone now.

Yikes! That doesn't sound fun. Hopefully no oil leaked out and there wasn't any bad damage. Reminds me of when I had a charge pipe blow off.

Oh definitely it freaked me out because I thought I blew something much more than just that especially the way the engine was behaving, I was fkn shaking lol.. Na stuff all oil came out as its only slow moving oil flow anyway. I just re fitted the tube and made it a lot tighter and hasn't popped off since and been about 10 months now. I have heard story's about those charge pipes blowing off, I check mine every few months or when I do an oil change. Sounds like no fun also!

I guess that’s why we have ratings on Amz et al. It’s the preponderance of experiences that informs purchasing decisions. For what it’s worth, my Mishimoto products (radiator and oil cooler) which I bought on a “pre-sale” have not given me any trouble (it’s been 3 years +).

Found it was coming out the lower fitting of the clear tube where it goes into the black part. Ripped it all off today and plugged them up with brass bungs.

teflon tape would have fixed your problem most likely.

I did this outside the auto shop, once the engine has cooled down I can finally add some thread tape and seal it up properly once and for all. At least this way I shouldn't have to worry about it leaking, maybe [emoji39]

best aftermarket coolant tank is the Pro Alloy
it has an actual sight glass and is hand made in the UK
I've had one on my orange spice 2017 for over 2 years, no issues and looks amazing

I went snowboarding a couple days ago with my buddy and I couldn't help show off all the torque ripping up the mountain. However, I guess it took its toll on my brakes as this morning they started to make a horrible grinding sound. I'm little short on funds from just going and snowboarding,Christmas, etc. But I did new front pads and it did the trick. Good for now.

Unless the pads really were worn away, the pad change probably wasn't necessary. It was probably disc rust you were hearing, and that burns away in a few brake applications.

The brake pads were pretty worn but you could be right. Me being overly sensitive, I had to change it immediately.

Silly but all weather mats...

Also ended up tightening the center console rear nuts... not sure if that’s common over time with these car or the previous owner had it apart for some reason...

I have put exactly ZERO miles on the SHO since I purchased the FiST... just way too much fun to drive!
