Would it be possible to use a common aux fuel tune between two different fuels (91 and emix) and then tune out the differences with the the Cobb tune? This way the car owner can simply switch the Cobb tune easily when forced to use the alternate fuel without leaving performance on the table and without needing to pull the fuse of the aux fuel controller.
If the boost curves were similar, then absolutely. You might not even need different fuel maps for ethanol or 93, if boost was kept the same. But the ecu could not adjust for large changes to airflow, that would have to be added through the extra injector/s.

So you could but your not gonna be able to get the potential out of running the turbo on a properly fuel ethanol tune?

Another thing I cant stress more....buying the extra clamp kit for all boost hoses from Ron at whoosh to double up....I did it and it helped with blowing hoses off!

These constant tension clamps are another option to consider.The t-bolt clamp on hot side charge pipe on turbo coupler had a tendency to come off pushing 27psi with my X-47R,but replaced it with a constant tension clamp and 9,000 miles of driving with it never coming off again.

How is that better than a Tbolt? Is it comparable to a jubilee clamp?

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Dude your taking this all wrong. I'm just saying if you get stuck in an area with no ethanol and you have your 93 tune setup with aux then you would need to have a laptop to switch up the aux controller map which is why most tuners don't like to do a 93+aux map.

What my tuner did was make the 93oct map based on the previous settings for the Ethanol map and just reworked fuel tables and such. The car does run quite rich on just Pump Gas. Could always just unplug or have a switch for the Port to turn it off for 93oct.

This is what I did with my hybrid but the difference in pump fuel mapping and ethanol for this turbo will be vastly different I don't think it would work if you want to get the potential out of this turbo.

Why did you buy a different MAP sensor? The stock sensor should be more than adequate for the range of the S280 turbo.
To try and push a few more PSI.
If you don't push PSI or RPMs these cars wont make over 350whp.

I have reached out to TT for a compressor map to see if it is viable to run 30+PSI over 35 lbs of air/min.

The OEM 3 Bar MAP sensor accuracy gets pretty poor above 28 PSIG. Typically you don’t want to be reading so close to the max range on a sensor like that. Given max range on a 3 Bar map sensor is 29.4 PSIG (44.1 PSIA) the 3.5 barg will get you better accuracy at the higher pressures some folks are shooting for.

Doubt TT has a compressor map, but if they do, that would be awesome.

Well, it was a leak
I had a total of 3 leaks thru out the charge air system
1) one at 5 psi at the coupler of the cold charge pipe and the throttle body, this one was a very tiny one
2) one at 15psi at the coupler of the cold charge pipe and the intercooler (this was the annoying one that sounded like a teapot)
3) and another one at like 22 psi at the coupler of the hot side pipe and the intercooler (this one was massive, it lost all boost when it reached that psi) didn't make any hard sounds

All 3 of these leaks had t bolt clamps on them and they still leak.
replace the t-bolt clamps and double t-bolt clamps on the later 2 leaks

Mitch @ CPE. Came from Alex @ Stratified and am incredibly happy so far.

Mitch is willing to explain a lot and go into detail if I want the info. Also his turnaround times are insanely fast. His tunes also have a great reputation for reliability.

My main complaints with Stratified are very slow turnaround times (1 revision every 5-7 business days) and very short answers to detailed questions.
