If you want to run any of the good intakes, yes. The adapters dont usually work (except the mountune one). But if you want something like 2J or ITG you need to convert. It takes maybe 15 min to change.

I did it, then the mountune piece for 16+ models came out, so I went back to the stock harness.

I did it on my 19 and haven't had any issues , I have the Whoosh intake with the St 200 airbox.

Did it. Was pretty easy. It take longer to get the parts out of the way than it did to swap lines.

I have a mishimoto intake for my 19 and so far with their adaptors for the 16+ years it’s worked great. No issues here. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did this exact thing on my '16 and it keeps throwing a P144c code.
