Oh, you're talking about the regular press on clip for halogen H1's! Yes! I totally lost my mind on those too! WAY easier to install the LED H1 with different bulb holders clips you buy for $3 separately and no diarrhea looking brown output like with halogen. That's what I was talking about, but now I remember you saying those 60% halogen, do you mean 60w?
I bought these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U1OLBD0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sounds like ill be upgrading then, and that those will be much easier to install.

Ah, OK, Philips VisionPlus.... When I was doing research on halogens I just didn't see anything I liked, anything that was remotely close to white also was too dim as they have to use that blue frosting on the glass to get close to white.... Anyway, yeah, if you get the chance to use high beams a lot then it's definitely worth the $30 total. You just need these 2 items: https://amzn.to/2D3rtw6 and the bulb holders: https://www.amazon.com/HUIQIAODS-H1-Headlight-Adappter-Retainer/dp/B07N838269/

And here is my guide on how to install: https://www.fiestastforum.com/threa...not-for-led-bashing.18114/page-32#post-366315

Hi Dan,

Just wanna quickly thank you for writing this up. Also wanted to give you a belated thanks for splitting the Sync 3 firmware files awhile back. I was able to successfully update my head unit thanks to your help. I'll be sure to refer to this thread when I decide to upgrade my headlights, too.

Thanks for the kudo's, I'm glad all my ranting has actually helped people, hehe... :)

If you want to update the shell software (quick update) you can use this file here and extract to a clean thumb drive and insert like the previous big update: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UF0hz_z-crBjZ7ZkoEIMzShwLINuSY1U

Here are some pics.. my driveway is at a decent incline so the beam looks higher than it is. They were really easy to aim, in fact my drivers side was already spot on. Im not sure what to think of the fogs. They dont seem to throw too much light up high and look like they have a cut off built in like when they were in the low beams. I am not sure about using them on the road with other cars just yet though.

Close to my garage door:

low beams and no fogs:

low beams with fogs:

leds only:

leds with fogs:

You mention fogs, low beams and LED's, so which are the LED's? That 3rd pic looks like a lot of massive glare...

The drl/leds are on in each pic but only on by themselves in the 4th pic.
OK, just kind of weird how it looks like it has so much glare in Pic 3 but once you add the fogs it's better... But now looking closer it makes sense, the white glare from the DRL LED's is there in all of them, obviously you're using the High setting and it does create some glare... When I did my wall Pic of the output I was still on Low at the time but now am also on High myself... So tomorrow I'm trying the new trick to get fully auto low/high DRL's by simply adding a power pin to each side on the High power pin and moving the the moved pin down to the Low power pin at the same time and I'll report back!

Its probably my phone making corrections. I feel like there is some glare from the fogs but overall not bad at all. Im tempted to try them out and see if I piss off anyone lol.

Looking forward to your report :).

So yeah, it doesn't look like the fogs add any more glare compared to just the DRL LED's (the difference between Pic 3 and 4) so I'd say you'd want to use low DRL at night and you'd be good I don't see fogs adding additional glare... So if my experiment works tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure it will, I will have to do a new thread on it and you might want to try it yourself!

Yup, its something I'd want to do in the nearish future. Along with those highbeams and led lowbeams. For now the halogen low beams are a step up from the tech max lows in the reflectors because of how bad the reflectors are compared to these projectors. I missed these things lol.

I went with the Diode Dynamics LUXEON LED Fog Lamps + Lamin-x yellow overlays and have been very happy with the set up.
Those are definitely really nice! I almost got a set when they were 25% off last Black Friday, but for now I think I'l order some projector housings that take an H11 bulb for $48 on AliExpress and add one of my extra sets of H11 bulbs in.

Oh, I definitely don't want halos, just regular full fog lights, which are actually common to current Subaru and a bunch of other cars as well so it's a common size at least... I'm likely going to get these for $41 - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32785310604.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.244c3c00Y1nqJv&mp=1

I saw the halos after I posted that link lol, I like your find a lot better.
What is interesting about them, since they are wired/have motors as a bi-xenon, if we could figure out if there was a way to wire into the high beam power, they would retract the projector cutoff for a "Beyond Bambi" mode where not only the fogs stay on with the high beams, they actually point upward! I just don't know how it could be wired... If @VirtualRonin wants a new project maybe? LOL...

OK, the headlight trick absolutely works! Just move the #3 wire to the Low/lower position and use an Add a Circuit from a spare ignition switched fuse spot and run power to each high pin at the same time and it works perfectly! High DRL when ignition is turned on with headlights off and if headlight or parking lights are on, they switch to low, all automatically!

For the 2015 Fiesta, the DRL logic is a tad tougher. I'm currently trying to figure it out. I removed the 20A ignition coil fuse and used the add a circuit in its place using both the 5A fuse and 20A fuse in the add a circuit slot. Right now, it just stays at Low output DRL.

I wish I could help you, not sure how the '15 fuse box is different I have this setup for the extra power that goes to the high position on each side I didn't pull anything, I used this open spot:

Obviously, I will be using the Micro2 type add a circuit instead too... from blue connector end I have 2 18awg wires going to the ADD here spot in the factory harness, one for each side:
