Installed Vibra-Technics (Fast Road) engine and transmission mounts from Whoosh. I also installed a new accessory belt when I removed the passenger side motor mount.

I'm impressed with the Vibra-Technics mounts! The NVH is feels slightly less than the poly-filled OEM mounts I just removed. I also noticed that engine startup/shutdown feels more cushy along with smoother shifting and clutch engagement. The poly-filled OEM transmission mount I was running started to eject the polyurethane and pretty much lost its effectiveness over stock so I needed to replace it and decided to upgrade both mounts. I already have a CP-E rear motor mount.

I'm looking forward to driving more with them installed and see if they break in a bit more. I also like the simplicity of how they are built. Glad I made the choice to go with them!

I have Vibra Technics mounts on my MK2 VR6 car and cant say enough good things about them. Its quality engineered stuff. I dont feel the need for them yet or maybe at all on this car but good to hear they are worth it on this platform too.

Fun course today!

The 'slaloms' were far from as straight as the map indicates. Links to videos will come tomorrow.

Replaced both oxygen sensors. Just because. 78k miles, after all. Good thing, too - the downstream cable apparently has been rubbing against something, and the outer sheath had worn out to the wires. Removing and reinstalling the Injen RamAir was no picnic tho. Ended up with an extra clip - no idea where it came from...

Happens to me all the time and I end up knowing exactly where it came from AFTER everything is back together lol. Been getting a stored code: P013A - O2 Sensor Slow Response - Rich to Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 2). Tried searching but it seems like nobody has had this issue or at least hasn't posted about it. I do have an aftermarket catted downpipe so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Maybe my secondary is taking a dump, idk. Runs fine

Mine is a straight pipe, no converter. Never had a sensor code. Oxygen sensors are cheap, but a PITA to replace - even if the car is on the lift.

Gave the car a quick wash yesterday, and gave special attention to the wheels, making sure to clean the calipers as best I could. Also, I finally removed the "Fiesta" badge!

FINALLY changed the cabin air filter after almost 3 years, ~20K miles and two dusty New England Forest Rallies!

I believe the dealer will have to do the next change since I almost puked all over the foot well from working in such a confined space, totally upside down.

I know all of the "15 minutes to get the front bumper off AND back on" hot shotz will chime in and say this job took them less than those said 15 minutes, but it took this old man all of 2.5 hours to complete (I could not get the glove box door off AT ALL! WISH we had a PAPER printed service manual!!)

Nice to see those size tires fit. Any lowering springs on that? Trying to see if my ideal set up will work.
I'm on the stock suspension, and so far no rubbing. I don't autocross or track the car though, so ymmv under more extreme conditions.

Solved my rubbing issue by buying these today.

Sparco Terra 16x7 with 205/45 Indy Firehawk 500

Can't wait for the next autocross in three weeks. Lost 7.5lbs a corner over my current setup.

Here's my best run from this weekend's autocross.

Also got the [emoji1360] from the wife to divert our road trip to Fort Lauderdale in early October through the Tail [emoji41]

I love the look of white wheels; the contrast is very cool! But the Terras weigh ~19 lbs (tirerack lists 3 different weight for black, grey, and white). If you're saving ~8 lbs, what were you running before?
