It doesn't have the benefit of the forward motion ramming air into the intake that the big mouth does, since its placed on the grill of the car and una more open space.

The purpose it serves is to basically smooth the flow of the air entering from the cold air hose. For just under 30 bucks I thought it was worth a shot as opposed to the price of a BM and see if it makes a difference.
Got it. The promise is that there are gains about 2-4%, which I find kinda extravagant. I wonder if your butt dyno picks up anything.

Ordered some yellow headlight vinyl/tint a few weeks ago. Finally had a chance to install it. One headlight came out alright, the other not as nice.

I couldn't find my vinyl squeegee, used and old access card that was way to stiff. I'll redo it later if I really like the look. So far, I'm liking it.

Ready for "Stage 2" tune. I did one step colder plugs a couple weeks ago. A bit of fitment issues along the bottom but I worked around them. Definitely keeping the charge temps in check!

Did you notice anything? Or just placebo effect?
Really seemed to spool quicker and pull harder even with ambient temps around 98*. Seemed to also hit about half a pound more boost consistently.

Drained the Damond OCC....BOV wasn't as vibrant....found a scorched vacuum line. Replaced it....good to go. Made perfect poached eggs....finally figured it out to be perfect no yolks breakage.

I painted mine black as well as the crash bar after I shaved the grill. I masked off the radiator and hit the bars with some self etching primer and topped it with satin black.

This is on my to do list when a new IC goes on. Crash bar looks like its naked sitting there waiting to rust.
