I figured it's time to pick a forum and start learning. I bought a 2015 FiST about 4 mo ago. 26km on it. Everything seems solid, took it to a shop to check for any obvious issues and everything checked out. I know next to nothing mechanically so that's one reason im here, gotta start somewhere. My ST is all black, black Fifteen52 wheels, spoiler extenders, splitter, black Ford badges, tinted glass, slight front bumper sag which i read is very common. Everything on it is how i bought it. 1 owner b4 me in FL, carfax was clean. I fell in love the first time i saw it. This is an everyday driver for me but also a hobby car to modify and learn on. I look forward to discussing this stuff with everybody here. This is the first car i am in love with, so pretty, such fun to drive, i will probably own nothing but FiSTs after this. Cheers !

[welcome] you have found the perfect place to keep your funds at a nice round # of 0 , and this is a good place to learn erthing you can think of about the FiST . [wrenchin] [twothumb] [histerical]
LOL yea i already have the wife shooting daggers when i talk about car mods and prices. But hey i've been married with kids for 15 years now so this is my first "sports car" and i couldn't be happier, so no rush. But damn i should have got into automotive 20 years ago. Better late than never : )

Sounds like you have some nice appearance mods already, the only thing you need to do is see if it has an upgraded rear engine mount/roll restrictor that we like to call an Rear Motor Mount, RMM for short, stock one sucks even at stock power on '14-'15 cars and a Cobb Accessport tuner to get a bit more of safe power, even their free stage 1 adds enough torque to actually make it easier to drive. Also make sure your car doesn't need a cooling recall done, easiest way to tell is if you have hard plastic lines and not soft rubber ones coming off the coolant tank you need to bring it in for a free fix for fire hazard... You don't need a bunch of engine mods with a stock turbo car either, but an upgraded intercooler always helps if you want to have any consistent power at all in the summer, as going through the gears on a fast pull will heat that stock one up quick, but it's nice to know you really don't need a ton of mods at all, all that intake and exhaust stuff adds very, very little power with the tiny diesel torquey turbo we have anyway... Congrats and welcome!

Welcome! You'll find that whatever issues or questions you've got, someone around here will know what to do.
The aftermarket for this car is huge. You can do all kinds of things to it, from making it really fast, to suspension, brakes, all that.
About the front end sag, I don't have that issue, but somebody probably has, and they'll know the fix.
Enjoy your FiST.

Thanks Dan (and everybody else). I have another thread asking about identifying which mods have been done. My car had one owner from FL, i got it at 26k so fairly low mileage so far. I just don't know enough to eyeball what has been done other than the obvious stuff that's apparent from the outside. I do know the stock exhaust is gone, mine has a rather large diameter Magnaflow black unit, but no idea if it has a full catback ect. In my other thread they suggested i take some pics of whatever i can get to and show it here so that's likely my next move so i can see what i paid for lol.

TBH im hoping there was some performance stuff done, less i have to do in the long run. I know they spent a fair amount on what i can see. LED conversion lights, i think an aftermarket rear end to fit the Magnaflow muffler, front splitter, some fins up top by the spoiler, tinting, side skirts, and spoiler extenders. Mud flaps too i think. Im hoping it wasn't just a ricer and they put some cash into performance 🤑

Then it sounds like the RMM was likely already done if had that much done already, you can easily tell by looking under the car, it's right there on the bottom at the back of the engine... I'll look at your other thread soon after I get some Netflix binging dinner first :) But glad you got a great deal on a car with so many cool mods already! That will definitely safe you a lot of cost and hassle!

You guessed right. I took some random shots not knowing what to look for, somebody pointed out the COBB on the black metal piece.

Thanks Flaco. I love your ST in your pic. I notice it's an ST3, is that the one that comes with the sunroof? I ask bc i thought the ST3s all had Recaro seats and mine has a sunroof but no upgraded seats.
There is no such thing as ST1 ST2 or ST3 here for Fiesta’s ST . Thats a FoST deal partly because you can’t get more options and the seats go from base, to partail leather Recaros to Full leather Recaro’s.
We only have Recaros or non Recaros amd choice of options depending on what you order or the dealer orders. No set packages literally mix and match.

Just to throw this out there, Cobb is by FAR better than stock but also known as being the least aggressive aftermarket too. You can always go a little stiffer and still not have much added vibes at all, just in case you do tune and notice excessive wheel hop and torque steer, but I'm sure it's fine for now, just throwing the knowledge out there...

Just to expand on the other post about it, there a total of 4 individual options that can be mixed/matched: black wheels/red calipers ($375), factory nav ($795), sunroof ($895) and Recaro package with heated seats and mirrors ($1995). Unfortunately most dealers order usually minimal options or everything, it's actually hard to find one with Recaro's WITHOUT sunroof in stock already. As unfortunately on the Fiesta, the sunroof is tiny, mostly behind the drivers head, adds weight to the top of the car that can affect handling and driving it aggressively through curves like you're supposed to can cause some flex and very early leaking from nearly brand new as documented a number of times... As much as I usually LOVE to have a sunroof, the FiST is prob the one car in the world that it's not worth it to me, personally. Anyway, I think ordering has or will cease soon and you give up the big rebate to order one without sunroof, which totally sucks.
