Its bluetooth. You download the fuel it app to your phone and it gives you real time ethanol content. Works great and no gauges to alert the dealer that you are e30 tuned.

I'm way beyond hiding my mods from the dealer....oops...that's a great price though! I'm gonna think about it...how accurate was it and is the app easy to deal with or is it janke?

Lol, I hear ya. My warranty is voided x 10 with my mods. It's very accurate and easy to read. You have to buy the app for 4.99, one time fee. But it's very clear and easy to read. No fuss.
