Easy with that space odyssey stuff...a lot of them are too young to know what that is....it will make their heads implode.[popcorn]

It's the high beam indicator and the anti-theft light blinks there too.

I have gone back and checked.
This one is not in the Owner's Manuel.

Dave
Mine has another green light representing the fogs. Seems to be missing in that pic.
Mine apparently is also a lot slower because it doesn't go up to 260. [hihi] [wink]

What is this "auto start" that folks are mentioning by the way?
https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/vehi...y-and-fueling/auto-start-stop-technology.html
Okay. I wasn't aware that non-hybrids were doing that.
That explains the engine starts at traffic lights on vehicles I would've thought not be a hybrid..
The video says "...there's no delay..." but that's a fib.

I think you are describing the "Rear Fog" icon, not used on the USDM.

You just need to by gas.
You should always keep a full tank, in case of an emergency.

The light I'm talk'n about would be on RPM gauge between the temperature and oil warning lights. It operates like the green light on the speedometer side, except it's for fog lights.

IIRC there could be another light for stability/traction control.

I was incorrect, you are referring to the front fog icon.

The only TC/ESC icons are the warning icon (above the frost warning icon) and off icon at the bottom (both on the speedo).

I wanna say it's an Anti-theft lockout to indicate the car is in full lockout mode....but that's just me.

The closest I can come up with is just the LOCK and it is for Child Safety Lock.
Maybe this is for some kind of combination of that?

Does anyone here use MyKey features ?
Isn't that where you can assign another key for certain settings if somebody else drives the car?

NOBODY else will drive my car, so no. [deviltail]

p.s. I have never seen the security light flash in that location under the high beams light...I have even sat in the car and locked it and waited for some sort of blinking.
