yeah I was pretty surprised it made a difference on mine. The clamps were tight, but got a few good turns out of them. I don't know, very strange. It's now much more responsive at low and high speed, but definitely more down low. Best of luck!!

Could just be that placebo effect, but since so many people seem to be reporting similar things it probably actually is helping.
Even if it is a placebo effect, I'm 100% fine with that. Its free, and tricks me into thinking my car is faster. SOLD

I can promise you, second is now a beast and builds boost immediately, where as before, it wasn't peaking the boost feel till around 4k rpm. I could agree highway power may be placebo, but definitely did fix my acceleration. it was really really anemic.

I have tensioned the turbo clamps on my vehicle a number of times, your always going to have this problem. The hoses expand and contract due to changes in temperature and these type of worm drive clamps can't compensate as this happens. Its a good idea to replace these clamps sometime in the future with a constant tension clamp that can adjusted to temp changes. See images.

Good old fashioned T bolt clamps.
CXracing sells clamps, hoses, pipes, all at a fairly reasonable price, in case anyone is planning on replacing their stock clamps.
Supposedly CXracing is also making a FMIC kit for us.

I just tightened mine. I'll be doing the clamp change when I replace the intercooler. My clamps weren't exactly "tight" either. The heads turned with very little pressure being applied. I lost my 7mm socket when I put the FSWERKs intake on, so I had to use a 7mm wrench. It was not fun nor easy with a freakin wrench. lol

Lol nice. I started tightening my clamps with a flathead. That did suck. Thank god my wife knew where the socket kit was!

Yeah, I tightened all my clamps and the car seems to have found it's "balls" again... I think this may be the reason for the bad dyno run last week.

It was in my jeans and was found in the washer machine. LMAO.
