As many of you have seen, we've released some exciting new features for the Ford platform!

5 WAY MAP SWITCHING:
Our 5-way Map Switching function allows you to choose from up to 5 different maps using the cruise control buttons on your steering wheel. While in map switching mode you will see the slot indicated by the gear readout in the gauge cluster. This feature allows you to have multiple maps at your fingertips for different fuel types, boost levels, or even RPM limits. The addition of our Map Slot copy tool makes creating these switchable maps in Accesstuner a breeze!

FLAT FOOT SHIFTING (FFS):
Flat Foot Shifting (FFS) allows you to keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed during a gear change. This will allow for quicker and more consistent gear changes while under wide-open-throttle. This feature is enabled in our newest v200 OTS maps and can be adjusted using our Accesstuner software. The Advanced FFS feature will allow you to set specific RPM values for each gear change. This adjustability ensures optimal RPM and boost retention for every gear change under wide open throttle!

OTS MAP SUPPORT:
This update also includes revised OTS maps to support these new features as well as improve drivability and performance. Those of you who were experiencing issues with the 0-60mph Performance function should now be able to get accurate readings. We also made minor changes to fueling and wastegate tables to improve stability during spool and address concerns with lower quality fuels.

NEW ADVANCED ENGINE MONITORS:
Additionally, we’ve added a slew of new data monitors for those pushing the envelope of performance (Focus ST / Fiesta ST). Monitors such as Start of Injection, the injected amount of Fuel Mass, and Maximum Injection Angle are a small sample of what has been added. These new monitors will allow you to dive into the fuel system and milk it for every last drop. In addition to these monitors we have added an Advanced Monitors addendum to the Ford Monitor List which breaks down the enumeration of several crucial data monitors.

To read up on these new features and how they are used take a look at the support document here: Map Switching and FFS Guide.

Note: Existing ATR users should expect an e-mail with a new download link within the next 24 hours. Please install this software to a *NEW* directory to not overwrite your existing copy as you may need it for referencing changes from your previous maps. If you have not received an e-mail, please contact support@cobbtuning.com with your ATR and Accessport information. We will validate your information and get a new download link available for you as quickly as possible

The evolution of Focus ST tuning - your feedback needed.
Have an idea or a suggestion that could make more power or enhance the driving experience? Chances are we can make it happen! Submit your ideas and suggestions to support@cobbtuning.com and we’ll do our best to incorporate them in future updates.

**Warning**
In order to properly apply these updates you will need to uninstall and reinstall the Accessport using updated firmware. Due to the nature of the content in this update all previous maps are no longer compatible and new maps will need to be created using the most recent version of Accesstuner. Once maps have been created with the latest software they can be flashed to vehicles using the most recent Accessport firmware.

Also note that after the first installation using new firmware it may take up to 15 miles of driving for the OAR and ignition corrections to begin functioning. This is normal behavior.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us here, via email at support@cobbtuning.com, or directly at 1-866-922-3059.

Cheers,
The COBB Ford Expert Group

I also just noticed there is no version 200 maps for us, so this update really does nothing :/
I had not looked yet but I was wondering that too. So maybe they are in the works like all Our COBB parts LOL

I think the reason I am so impatient with cobb is because hardly anyone is making parts for these cars, and just knowing that they are has me anxiously awaiting any news lol

I totally understand this car has been nothing but wait for me from the time i ordered it and started waiting .. LOL only good thing is with such a distracting winter it is not so bad waiting for wheels and parts and time to work in a warm garage getting stuff put on the car .. Glad i have ample storage space in the basement and Trailer ;)
