Lol...no i couldn't...but what is that Magnusson warranty act thing...Ford can't void your warranty claim unless they can prove your mod/mods caused the problem...so i trust mountune isn't making products that will blow up your car...so in trust i mod...or something like that

I get it... but its like arguing with the police. You are never going to win. If you do... well it will cost a lot of money and be very stressful. But.... yeah I get it.... you shouldn't have any problems or they wouldn't warranty it in the first place.

Hey Rod...I always play nice!...until I have to get rough and tough with me fingers!!! side note: I'm on a lot of drugs, the really,really good drugs....especially Modtoxodrone...which is making me buy modification parts for my 2014 Ford Fiesta Ingot Silver ST at an alarming rate....right now I am looking for a rehab group to join to possibly help me to ween myself off of Modtoxodrone...it's going to be hard....pray for me!

Contacted Ken at Mountune and he said that the Carb OE is still in the works and that an exhaust system is also in the works that will be legal in California! Woohoo

Did he happen to mention how far away the exhaust is from release? I've been hearing that there's one in the works for a while now.

No dates for anything.

I'll be waiting a while until these companies get their products out Mountune and Cobb.... people test them.... break stuff... figure out what works the best and what is a waste....

We still don't even know the weak points of the engine yet...? Maybe search the European message boards...

The mentioned an exhaust on their forums a long time ago and no update on it so it will be a while. I have pretty much accepted that it will be at least Fall when they have their mp215 kit officially out and then maybe after that the FMIC with CARB and then even later (2015+) for the exhaust. Cobb is a bigger blip on my radar now.

Update: Why I am waiting for my intake? They forgot to back order it.....waiting again for the intake to be shipped from England, then to me...they are under staffed and super busy...what are you going to do?...waiting...btw has anyone done a charge pipe upgrade?

This is the way I plan to go as maintaining the warranty is very big in my books. I probably would not do any other engine mods until I am past warranty. Sounds like some other engine upgrades from Mountune will have Ford's blessing as well.
Want to keep my car balnced, not interested in major torque steer, just for slightly quicker acceleration. Handling can't be compromised in my view just for more power.

Nobody has got it because it's not worth. The cobb accessport won't void your warranty neither will their intake or anything else. Exhaust won't even void it. And people are getting great power gains and not having any torque steer or lose of handling. You'd be fine with power gains man. And that's just my two cents on the warranty but you'd be fine. I've got two oil changes with mods and they've said nothing. And unless you want to pay the extra dealership fees to have them install you'd be saving yourself a lot of cash.
