It's my pleasure to serve brother! Texas unfortunately right now is not an option, I'm pretty much tied here for the next 6 years unless I'm on leave of course.

Save the downpipe for the turbo install.
this is exactly what i was thinking, it might be better to do the turbo, DP, and exhaust all together later on and closer to summer time. hmmmm tax season is here.... hahaha

That's the right move. A new DP doesn't really net you anything with the stock turbo.

Like everyone else said, pro-tune and Whoosh FMIC will get 90-95% of the performance out of the stock turbo. I'd do that and save the rest for a x47.

now i did a little reading up of course on pumaspeed's web site and i dont see the major different between the x47 and x47R. can anyone explain this better to me, cause all i see is a very slight price difference for more horsepower!??! doesnt make sense to me to buy the x47 if the are is just a hair more expensive. is there more required parts bolt on wise i would need to be running? im confused

The 47r makes a little more power but is slower to spool. I'd get the regular 47.

I was going to get a 47 but now I'm thinking of just going for a gen 2 Garrett like the GTX2860R kit from whoosh which isn't really that much more money compared to a new x47.

Going for the big whoosh hahaha nice man, definitely interested to see how it goes!

I'm gonna be buying parts next week guys! I'll update pics and reviews of all upgrades in the next couple weeks!

I'm usually pretty frugal but I may splurge this time. Good luck with the part shopping!
