Thought I would contribute my new set up. 17x8 ET42 fifteen52 Turbomac with 5mm spacers up front to clear the brakes.

My brakes were a nightmare looking for wheels, nothing I liked was available in the right bolt pattern and offset.

What brakes are you running that made wheel fitment so difficult?

I'm running a custom setup made from Alcon 4 piston monoblock calipers and 332mm 2 piece floating discs. I have the same setup used by some fiesta st race teams in Asia like this one

Looks great, how do you like the A/S's and what size are they? Still plenty of grip? I'm replacing soon and even though winter is mild in Houston we are known for serious rain sometimes. Also is the ride and noise more tolerable? I don't plan on autocross but I do enjoy responsible spirited driving.

I still haven't broken loose on traction, but I might not drive as hard as other guys? All I know is I haven't had any dry or wet complaints at all. I got 205/45/16s, and the added sidewall (plus maybe softer compound/sidewalls? no clue) over the stock summer tires makes the ride much better in the city. But you living in AZ probably have much better roads. I went all season because I wanted something I could drive all year around, and I have the benefit of staying home, or taking public transport when there's heavier snow. I don't plan on testing them in anything more than an inch, so I assume I'll be fine during the winter. I'm not educated enough to know what impact the lighter wheels over stock has, but the car feels pretty damned good with this combo. Handling feels as good as, if not better, than stock wheels/tires, and ride quality has improved dramatically.

Oh and as far as noise, no real complaints. I notice it a little when driving at slow speeds on a narrow street (so the sound can bounce back to me), with the windows down, and my music down (basically a scenario I don't have happen often), but in practice I don't notice any noise 99.999% of the time.

turbomacs with 205/40. They definitely need to be spaced a bit, about 5-10mm and need a 215-40 tire.

Although Many say they are as heavy as the Oem wheel i disagree just in hand they feel lighter. when I swap tires I will weight the wheels, I didnt have a scale present this morning to actually verify

Internet ninjas always trying to shit on things lol. They are a shade lighter but I wont know for a while yet. My guess is 1.5-2 lbs lighter. If i get a wild hair I will pull the tire off this weekend and get a weight.

I have had many BBS style or actual BBS wheels, race cars, Vettes, even a Toyota Tundra made specifically for the truck, looks great on your car:)

I had H & R lowering springs on the car with stock struts. They're not up to performing with the springs. Now have a full set of H & R coilovers and I'm a lot happier with the less harsh ride.

Thanks much. I have a lot planned and think I'm gonna start with the Cobb ECU flash, mountune seems a little pricey.... But I'll look around for wheels.... Think I'm going to start with coilovers before I get wheels. Hopefully some more brands will put some out... What Coils are the best buy for the FiST if you would know.?
I think my response went to page 56. Sorry.

Anyone see any issues in quality or fitment of Konig Control rims? I don't have any plans for autox or tracking the car.

16x7 40 offset weighs 17.4lbs

40 offset should be fine. A reputable supplier will send any necessary spacers with the rims if you tell them the year and model details of your ST when ordering. Nice looking wheels by the way!
