I have not looked into Work wheels in many years but back when I did they were all very heavy in the sizes I was looking into so caution is advised as some wheels weigh more than published or advertised as.

uuugg just so frustrating trying to find a set of wheels. You would think with all the years the car has been available in Europe there would be a better selection of wheels atleast coming from a variety of Euro companies... end rant

I feel you, im on the same boat. The majority of wheel sold by tirerack and the likes are ugly, multi bolt, cheap paper thin construction, or too expensive for a set like OZ which is possibly the best wheels they have on there. The UK has so many good looking quality wheels for good prices but the shipping prices and the wait to get them incase a wheel gets damaged is too long and pricey.
Team Dynamics is the best bet just wished they kept a huge selection in stock.

As posted earlier this is a decent quality, lower weight, very moderate cost wheel made by Konig, 17x7, 4x108

http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/threads/612-The-Official-Fiesta-ST-Wheels-Thread?p=27310#post27310

----------------

As posted on other threads, does not help much right now, might take a year but hopefully much less, the new Miata went back to 4x100 in 16 and 17" diameters. This means there will be more wheels coming out as in roll formed, very strong, very low weight, very good prices, just have to do the 4x100 conversion which is not that costly or hard to do.

I did mine when I first got the car early last spring so I could buy the 15x9, 13lb, roll formed, track wheels I wanted to run, $124 each and very very well made and hard core track proven, by me:)

For the street I have Konig 4x100, 17x7, 16.8 lb, Feathers, got a deal at $105 each, they are a very good cast wheel and I have pounded on them a bit and they are holding up great.

----------------

It would of been nice to have a more normal bolt pattern stock but it is what it is, unless you change it, then more choices.

----------------

4x100 swap opens the doors for more choices now and more to come and costs less that the difference in one single high end forged wheel.

---------------

I do not know what is available in Europe but I bet some nice 4x100's are:)

Hope this helps,
Rick

I love Enkie whees, owned many over many years but that wheels is a bit heavy for the price, it is roll formed which is great but 18.6 lbs is a bit much.

The Konig made Maxxim Winner is a well made wheel with a bit lower weight and has a better offset for $115 each on Disountiredirect.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/wheels/maxxim/size/bySize.do?wd=17&bp=4|108|4.25&rw=-1

I have the Konig Feather, similar design, same build quality, 16.8lbs, very well finished, that cost around the same but in 4x100 for my street wheels, they look great on the car and I have pounded on them pretty hard, on purpose, the are strong.

Thanks, just to clear things up a bit though I believe the Konig is the Maxxim with black and red paint on it and the J10 is an Enkie and pretty heavy. Konig not on TR, they are on Discount tire.

No that was me. Unfortunately something came up where the money I had spent on the wheels I needed for something else. So I canceled my order on those.
I think it worked out for the best though, 15s would be great for the track but far to small (in my opinion) for regular daily driving. The 17x7.5 16.3 lbs wheel is a nice compromise
just going over all of the posts on this thread and boy there's a lot...

is there a reason why 15s wouldn't be good for regular daily driving? I like the look of the 15x8 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 but I don't ever track my car(not yet at least).

I just like the smaller wheel look for some reason. For a DD, are 15s not a good idea?

thanks ahead of time.

You will be fine with that 15 inch wheel and a good tire on a DD no worries I love mine when I track it and then sometimes I used to be lazy and leave them on for a while after to drive around till I got real track tires but on the DZll's it was a blast on 15's seemed to tire spin easier in all gears too if you wanted too ..

sweet...yea I'm really diggin those wheels you got on. For me it's gonna be either those or some sparco assetto garas.

are the DZ2's ok for a DD? I see a lot of guys on here running them but they all seem to autox or track their cars. I would just be driving around normal maybe taking it on some curvy roads every once in a while.

just want some 15s with good tires good enough for DD and occasional spirited driving.
