Added a few thing since getting the car Home from an AMAZING day at the track in MIlan Michigan with some of the DHM crew. ARP wheel studs longer and stronger, remove rear dust shield on the rear brakes to allow better cooling and added the TB bar and rear trunk bar that goes across the rear seat floor behind the rear seat. and the DEI turbo blanket to help keep the heat in the turbo and not in the car. The DP is also DEI wrapped. Then get the Pierce 6 point bar back on and the No pistons gas pedal spacer and it should be done.. till the next add ons show up.

Got the 6 point bar back on and the front end set so I figured with wider wheels coming I would install the lower Camber bolts and check the toe in on the front. With the upper slotted holes on my BC's and the lower bolts I am set at a neg 3 degrees camber will see how that works out..
I do enjoy this little DIY alignment tool from Flyin Miata I picked up a while back..

What tires are you going to use?
I just received those same rims (15x8 Matte Black).
Funny thing is I still have not received my CAR! (It is scheduled to be built June 15th - delivered July 15th).

It will be interesting to hear how the 225/45-15 fits on that rim ( and car ) compared to your 205/50-15 DZII Star spec.
Yes though the SS have been replaces with like sized Hoosiers though still in the family I don't have them but do miss them.. LOL the A6's are infact a lil bigger than the SS were by a smidge. But tires should be here today and then I can get them mounted and on the car for some pics :)

This tire size is SOOOooooo limited it was the BFG or the Hankook RS3v2 and I thought I would give the bfg's a whirl as they are supposed to be tweeked for better wet preformance and after rebate the price was close. though I have read they (bfg rival-s) wear faster than the noraml bfg rival tire but for me thats ok.. I have heard really good things about the Kooks too.. so time will tell.. as I mentioned if Star Spec had a tire in this size it would have been a really really tough choice just like last time I bought the SS over the BFG.. fun fun

So, Rod... How does it feel when you accelerate? Does your stomach go up into your chest?
Lets just say anything past 4k rpm you need to be aware of what you are doing below that it is a very easy car to drive..
Took the rims and tires in to get mounted and bal will hope to have pics of them on sometime tomorrow so in the mean time I went for a lil drive and thought you all might like to hear the cabin noise rowing thru the gears and little bit of just cruising at the end.. The Car has the 2J racing intake and full exhaust with the DHM catless downpipe. And the windows are rolled up so only cabin noise and If I must say so it is not all that bad. On a side note driving around today basiclly relearning the car I had it well past my previous mark ontrack of 121 and it had more to give.. notes country rode clear skis 10 am miles of line of sight and it kinda caught me by surprise as I looked down and the speedo was going past twice the legal freeway limit which they moved to 70 here now.. That run is not on video.. I look forward to getting this thing on the track and around town it is pretty tame if you want it to be.. :) Thanks again DHM for a bunch of Great Tunes...

NSFW video.... damn.
LOL I wont post a Vid of it on the Decel then . Though it does pop and snarl it too is very manageble if you are in a no engine brake zone. Or if you want you can let it bark like the kids do on their crotch rockets and harleys ..

Please let us know how the 225/45 compares to the 205/50 sizing!
Looks like those are quite big for a 225. Love the wheels by the way!
Thanks. Chalon is great to work with too..
They A6 hoosiers I have mounted on the same style rim are about 8 1/4 tread from what i can measure but they are known to run wide too. can't say on the Star specs as they are gone to his GF house lol. kids eh ...
