For a street car on 205 tires its getting pretty crazy in a fun way. I'm sure on a track it would be awesome!

Here is the Life of a Tuner or at least His phone used to record this datalog run. My guess is better vid will be out soon but I wanted to show the glamore side of tuner life..
Enjoy this is the EFR Peron Kit with 22 lb boost and 3rd gear pull got over 280 whp (closer to 291 but ok) this has the 2j cowling air intake and the full 3 inch DP and cbe for the sound..

Yeah I thought that quite a bit of flutter I heard too...might need a different spring rate added to reduce the flutter...
That's how EFR's sound. That is the OE Borg BOV. The only one they offer is a stiffer spring and that would make compressor wheel surge worse.

OIC...thanks for clarifying Russ...Sounds mean!

Having had a few Tials and Turbosmarts DV's in the past I know they came with different springs options available which allowed for changing them out to reduce flutter and surge....

With the Borg BOV and stiffer spring are you also seeing a boost spike at the very end of run when you quickly go off throttle?

I don't see any boost boost spikes now so I have not tried the stiffer spring. That is only for the guys that have flutter issues with the lighter OE spring at low/part throttle. I would rather have a BOV flutter when I let off than one that pops open and slams back shut because of a spring to stiff. Also for throttle transition a light spring is better because no throttle/ part throttle it will allow the compressor wheel to remain at a higher speed. Also just a FYI I had a compressor wheel speed sensor installed so I assure you guys there is no off throttle surge.

Nice to have that sensor available! Can't wait to see / hear further details...
