Those lines were a pain. ATP sells braided lines that you can use instead.
Might be too much to ask, but can you post a link for those lines?

I emailed ATP and they came back with this:
Yes the lines are sold separately.

The coolant lines for the in and out both use the 24" straight -6an lines.

I will absolutely second that the coolant lines are brutal to get installed. I will say that it was easier putting them back on the second time once everything was lined up though. I wish the wastegate had just been in a better location so I didn't have to take the turbo back out in the first place! My buddy got a new Civic Si and his turbo is right at the front of the engine bay...must be nice! haha

Turbo on the Si is a tad bit easier to work on but there is alot of negatives , the biggest one is weight balance , this is big especially on a front wheel drive car where most the weight is in the front anyways and adding all that weight to the nose of the car can really make a difference. Having the turbo in the rear also makes pretty much anything else on the engine alot easier to work on.

Ok guys another question as I received my kit today and now I’m crazy excited for the weather to warm up. How much physical adjustment was required to get your car running right after your install. By that I mean, did you just slap the MRX on and get it tuned? Or did you have to make adjustments to your wastegate, bov that you chose, etc? Also, I did not get the adjustable wastegate actuator, did I make a mistake? Did any of you find it to be essential?

I hate to ask as I am unsure if it has been stated already within these 145 pages, but, can anyone attest to the reliability of the MRX over 10k miles? 20k miles? I am not looking for over 270hp, looking for fun and reliable. I scoured these pages and from what I have read I am seeing mixed reviews and looks like no one has had issues other than fun factor down low.

It's a Garrett turbo made for mountune....their reliability is Better then the Hybrids if you do little reading. So it's made for the long haul and by a respectable business that's been around a little bit.

Garrett is a manufacturer not a vendor. Typically garrett turbos are all oem quality and don't fail from normal use.

Sure, why not. There is a significant difference between a vendor and a manufacturer, especially when speaking to levels of quality and perhaps the poster is unaware of that.

Let me reword my question: How many miles have you put on your MRX turbo?
You really don't have to worry, it will last you 100,000 miles easily at the power levels you want. Consider it to last as long as the car, just as most oem turbos do.
