Wanted to do a video today with comments but didn't get around to it.
So I'll make it brief.
I love this turbo.
It pulls so hard and so linear. Feels amazing.
There's zero lag between shift changes and definitely none on down shifting.
Of course the question asked many times, how's the lower rpm end.
Well, as you can see. It's pretty unexciting. But I prefer it that way.
I really don't need 24 pounds of boost at 2500 rpm.
I honestly can't remember or recall a situation in which I'd ever want peak boost at 2.5k.
If I'm doing around town city driving, I try to keep off boost for one, to save gas, and two, so I don't look like a tool for kicking tires off every damn stoplight.
Also, like I've said before, shit breaks down low.
It hasn't been said in years but, everyone remember LSPI!? [emoji23]
This thing is ripping around like a freight train for me, makes SUCH smooth power, and I never see lag when I want boost.
I know it's a reliable unit that'll last for a LONG time being a Garrett unit.
And it's backed by Mountune's superior customer service.
I'm making near 300 to the wheel on straight 91... 91 guys.
Hoping to iron out the pump tune soon and start on meth.
Hopefully e30 if I can find some. Nearest pump is 2 hours.
