Dammit, you guys got me all excited for this and I already have an FSWERKS intake. Sign me up for this! I'll be putting my deposit down.

I've got a 2016 ST, so I'm hoping this intake has no check engine light issues. I have the MAPerformance adapter on mine and just got rid of the check engine light, for now anyway.

I can't decide between dry or oiled...what's better?

I don't think one is necessarily "better" than the other
It's going to boil down to preference
I lean toward dry but again it's preference.

So far the 12 confirmed orders are about an even split between the two types of filtration

I usually prefer dry filters but I thought I read somewhere that these oiled filters flow a little better so I went that route...

Deposit placed for 2016 intake, but depending on these adapter options, we can change to a 2015 intake before we finalize the purchase?

I just received my MAPerformance intake and was pretty surprised that it wasn't louder with the open design. Would this intake be quieter because of the box? Not sure how the full hard piping would effect noise. The k&n intake in my WRX is much louder.

answer is yes, you are not obligated to buy the cp-e 2016 adapter
the 2014-2015 & 2016+ intake kits are 100% THE SAME except for the PCV harness
that's it....

open filter is louder
the closed box does muffles the sound a bit
but this intake is all about the performance
it breathes better than any other[:D]
I think Deadhook has even mentioned this a few times that I've seen .....

I thought I heard somewhere that this intake is pretty loud. I also saw a video on youtube and it sounds about the same or louder than my FSWERKS intake.
