I was using two separate brand new thumb drives and even tried reformatting after it didn't work the first time, I will start all over downloading and trying to do both with the one thumb drive that did work on the first upgrade. Do you know if it should still be version 1.0 after doing the first update?

You were probably right about the memory stick, I did it a third time with a fresh 16 GB stick instead of a 32 GB stick and it took this time, all three were new sticks but maybe it didn't like the 32 gb one.

Confirmed update on 2016 Fiesta ST with NON-NAVIGATION and Apple CarPlay Hub:

Used a separate memory stick for each of the two updates. The first took about 20 minutes and the second about 10. I did this using the old hub and then had to swap to the new hub to enable use of Apple CarPlay. I upgraded my USB hub to GJ7Z-19A387-B from Tasca Parts who had it in stock last week (took about 8 days to receive). Link below:

Hope this helps anyone with compatibility concerns.

finally got it to work. The past few weeks I had issues where it just never finished. I did a master reset just for giggles and bought a pny elite turbo 16g usb 3.0 stick which was twice as fast as the usb stick I was trying to install with.

I wasn't able to download from the link posted at the beginning of the thread. Is that the correct link for the non-navigation version?

My Fiesta had Sync 1.0 installed from the factory. I performed the update and now have version 2.2.

I am not sure if you can install the update in this thread if you have Sync 2.0. Did your car come with the CarPlay USB hub from the factory?

I have two questions:
- If my 2016 is using version 2.0, am I unable to update to version 2.2?
- How do I verify if my USB hub is CarPlay-enabled?

Not sure if it did or not, I'm an Android user. I do know that Android auto doesn't work.

Well mine quit working today...2.2 tried to reinstall the second update ( 16 non nav) update worked fine but no android Auto icon or ability to enable it . I had been 1.0 after the update for months with it working 95% of the time. Today it just stopped and the dealership still doesn't show an update from Ford.

Have you verified 2.2 in your version check installed Android auto on your phone don't remember but think there is a Android auto option in the update app section

So previously I've had the issue of the android Auto icon not being selectable but at the moment it doesn't even appear. (On the car)
2.2 verified.
Android auto phone app updated
Google pixel, all apps updated.

That sucks have you played with forscan before I'd try reloading stock as built file for your car and see if that works.

No when I looked last I wasn't sure it would work on the fiesta. What was the connection method? Bluetooth obII work? Laptop? Chromebook or phone? Don't have a Windows laptop, just a desktop and the chrome os book.

I have also tried a master reset with no changes.

On the Ford website through AA combatibility section the fiesta is not listed as supported or upcoming and all the vehicles listed are 2017.
