E30 vs 100 octane mix?

Currently my car is tuned by PD tuning on a 50/50 mix of 93/100. Car runs great! However, Ive been considering an E30 tune. Would it be worth it? I feel like it would be around the same HP wise since the octane will effectively be close. The only benefit is cheaper cost.
Thoughts?

That's about right. If you do a 30% mix with 93 octane your effective octane will be anywhere from 95-98 Octane depending on the quality of the E-85. E-85 is typically between 100 and 105 octane. if E-85 is readily available I would do it.

Agreed. As in my case there is more race gas available then there is E85. Price wise at $8 a gallon is pretty steep though. E30 is very cost effective.

There is also this http://race-gas.com/ which Adam recommends. Still a little pricey but another option.

SEE my first post. I don't know about you, but cost is a pretty big deal. E85 is $1.79 in my neck of the woods as opposed to $7 or $8 a gallon for 100 octane. If you could get the same performance for 1/4 the price, wouldn't you??

Yes sir. Currently at $1.81 per gallon in Orlando,FL. I feel your pain. When I had my Subie the nearest station was like 30 miles away. Had to make due with 93 octane st $4.76 a gallon. This was in 2011-2012. Gas had gone down considerably since then.

5.76$ a gallon for 94 chevron here
7.64$ a gallon for ethanol with a 100$ yearly membership to get it at that price...

we get so Faaked here. Like I've paid probably 2x on mods vs if I was American
