Stupid Question...

Sorry for the dumbass question guys, BUT I've gotta take the ST in for a nagging CEL. Adam told me it is likely my Idle air control motor going out.

I just removed my OCC today, and tomorrow will be my Mountune intake hose and box (which I'll be selling soon btw). Now however I gotta flash back to stock on my AP. Can someone tell me if I need to un-marry it to go back to stock, or if Stage 0 on the AP is my stock map?

Sorry for the noob question on that, but I appreciate someone letting me know. Once
This IAC code is taken care of, I'll likely start the process of putting my big turbo on since Depo seems to have finally got his ICs in...

I have a sneaky suspicion that my JBR OCC is what was causing that CEL... we shall see within a week.

Thanks again, and in advance.

It could have also been my filter cap. Forgot what company it was from, but it's the oil filler cap with the check ball/breather on top. Again, more investigating coming soon.

Can't you read CEL codes with the AP? That should get you in the right direction.

CFM. Doubt its that. I have one on for 6,000 miles and no CEL.

I've read the code multiple times and I think it's P0507. I've posted about it before and got no answer.

I took off my OCC and breather cap and the code is gone so I can't double check it right now. Also put the tune on my AP to Stage 0, still need to know if that
Is my stock tune for warranty reasons.

Gonna drive for a day or so to see if it comes back on. I almost wonder if Adam set my idle too high on my tune.

If the light doesn't pop tomorrow I'll put my cap back on and test some more.

The code was intermittent honestly and sometimes it would stay off for a day or so.

What would your car typically idle at? And after flashing to Stage 0 what is the idle now.

Googling the code says a few things like vacuum leak, pcv, evap or iac. So you either left something unhooked or maybe the catchcan did mess with it but I'm unsure where the pcv is located on these cars. High idle can be a leak or the iac can possibly be bad.

Stage 0 the idle is maybe 900 to 1k. On Adams tune it looked to be roughly 1200 or so. The code usually popped right on start up, but would show on occasion after a longer drive when it idled.

Wonder if one of my quick fittings was busted on my OCC? Gonna flash to my custom tune if the light doesn't pop tomorrow on my regular drive.

I had a boost leak one pop that I seemed to have taken care of earlier.

Another Newb question, but don't these use the TC to control idle air instead of a stand alone IAC motor?

For the Op I would recheck all your connections. A vacuum leak will usually throw a lean code as well. Google is telling me that code indicates idle is too high, a little busy at work to check oasis but reading your posts it sounds like exactly that. If my above question is correct with a TC controlled idle, then there is either a reason it is requesting this idle or the PCM is telling it to.

Quick look and Ford states

Intake leak after TB
Vacuum leaks
damaged Evap system
EGR leaks vacuum
Damaged TB
Damaged PCM

Answered my own question to lol
