Why catless? You pollute 10x more for what?
I don't think its 10×. There is hardly any smell ( after it warms up ) and I have been behind newer cars that smell way worse. I used to work at the vehicle emission test center and after about 5 min of driving I could probably pass.

OK, please don't take this the wrong way, just for discussion purposes and the reference of others, but 2 Liters is more like the amount to use but at least 1.88 Liters (2 qts) is better than 1.67 or less that many of us have drained... Also, OEM DCT fluid is overpriced and isn't the greatest. Just my theory but at the time the FiST (made in Mexico) was released, Ford was up to their ears in that fluid from all the Focus and Fiesta using the actual DCT, so they may have just made a "good enough" call to get through the warranty period... It's not even full synthetic and you can get Ford approved Triax full synthetic DCT fluid for $16/qt or actual Ravenol MTF-2 gear oil, also Ford approved, for $20/liter. Using the Ravenol at 12k completely transformed my gearbox that was grinding and whining to near perfect. For you guys that have been lucky to have no issues at all, I'm sure you're fine with 2 qts of OEM fluid, but for us that don't have enough of an issue to fall under the half shaft issue but want improved performance, cannot recommend the Ravenol enough. I recommend it as the first thing a new owner of a new or used FiST does is get 2L of Ravenol in there... Again, if you weren't having any issues at all then you should be fine, just my $.02...
Luckily i havent had any trans problems (knock on wood lol) but i figured since my car had less than 2 quarts from the factory, 2 quarts would be sufficient.. didn't want to spend the extra $30 to use 2/10ths of a bottle. Next time, i may try the Ravenol. i've heard good things about it.

No, 2 qts (1.89L) is definitely better than the 1.5-1.67L that is being drained from factory for sure. Especially with some product coming in qts and some coming in liters, that is absolutely understandable and almost certainly acceptable.

Now, I personally think it's still not worth it, but indeed, as long as you are tuned then you are much more properly leaned out then it's not too bad... but you still see morons running catless on a stock tune too, blows my mind why someone would do that at all.

Fanboys coming from Hondas where all it needs to run is .5qt of oil and the lowest grade fuel you can find. Then look at you like a dicks growing out of your forehead for asking what the gap is on there spark plugs when it misfires [emoji23]

I did the sound symposer delete today. I just took it for a drive and I can't notice any difference.
Do you already have intake/exhaust mods? If so, yeah, you may not notice much if you were already running pretty loud with your mods, but should still notice some difference while on the throttle. If no intake or exhaust mods, then should seem eerily too quiet now, but it's not a mod done for any power at all if that's what you were implying. It's just to reduce a point of possible boost leak and a chance to dial in a proper intake or exhaust sound instead.

Your symposer might not have been working to begin with. My friend still has his symposer (his car is bone stock) and I cannot hear it at all. I thought he had deleted his symposer, but he hasn't touched it.

When mine was still installed, I absolutely could hear it. After I installed stiffer mounts it became obnoxious when combined with the extra exhaust noise from the stiffer RMM (the downpipe mounts to the bracket on the RMM, so a stiffer RMM can transfer more noise from the DP I believe). Removing my symposer greatly subdued the perceived NVH when under throttle and load.

Food for thought.
Maybe because I already have RMM in so that's why I can't notice it. I hope it will reduce the drone I get when going uphill.

What butterflies? What kind? Monarchs? They hold a special place in my heart and they are very a intricate piece to the environment! Be nice to them!

No I think they're called painted ladies. Fly to Oregon from Mexico every year, this year has been insane because we actually had rain, tons of opportunities for them to do their thing

Installed the Cp-e exhale kit with HKS BOV. It took over a month to get to me.

Worst. Install. Ever. If you think the DP is a pain, just try squezing a huge pipe and BOV between the transmission and fan shroud. The snap ring on the BOV is the single most difficult thing on the car to get done. So much swearing. It was so bad that I won't be doing anymore engine mods, save a new turbo down the road.

On the upside, spool sound is amazing. It's loud. Like, boost leak loud. Peak boost at 26psi, holds 24psi. Gone is the leaky stock BPV nonsense. The HKS is the sexiest sound a car can make. If you like noise, this is the part for you. If you hate waiting, difficult installs, busted knuckles, frustration, and sadness, then skip it. I love it, but refuse to turn wrenches on my daily anymore...for now.
