Crazy loud whistle after X37 install

Alright so I just finished my X37 install and I'm getting an awfully loud whistle when hitting boost but it's running perfectly fine. Idles great, no check engines, and AFR's are right on.
I'm running the CPE hard pipe with HKS BOV, as well.

I never got this loud whistle before so it's definitely related to the install.
It only happens when under boost. And immediately stops after blow off.
I've checked all hose connections and everything and all seems well.

Yeah sorry about the wind noise, only way I could get even a slight amount of the whistle recorded

Really tough to hear, I only could hear what sounded like regular turbo spool noise, what parts specifically did you change/replace/remove. New downpipe or intake or anything like that?

FWIW mine seems to be a bit more subtle after 500 miles or so, or maybe I've just gotten used to it. But it seems like it occurred across a broader RPM range when first installed. I'm convinced it's something related to the compressor wheel design, because mine didn't make that noise before the X37 either.

sounds like intake noise to me, kinda like the stock intake has a blowing over a bottle noise to it...

Yeah I didn't touch ANYTHING else during the install except the intake and cowling.

Mine does it too, and I like it. Are you worried about if it's normal or does it annoy you?

I don't care if it's normal. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have an insane leak

I am leaving for a work trip today, and I will record and post up a video of what mine sounds like after I get back next week. To me the sounds that the car makes under part throttle are "spooky", and what I speculate we are hearing is the sound of the turbo coming through the intake.

The spooky sound has prompted me to nick name my car "Ghost"...lol, and I have NEVER nick named any of my cars before. No boost leaks for me, and all turbo noises that I hear from my setup I feel are normal and within reason for a modified turbo charged performance car.

My car makes the exact same noise after the X37 install, and I have the stock intake with just a green filter. It worried me a bit at first, but now I like it. I also suspected a boost leak or something, but I'm hitting almost 28psi and my vdynos are exactly where they should be. To me, it sounds like I have a little steam engine under the hood. Just a little something that lets people know something is different with this fiesta.

Seijou - it's really not that loud. If you have the windows up and are listening to music or the radio, it is barely audible. If you go WOT or once you get above 3K rpm or so, you can't even hear it any more.

In case it was missed in exhaust thread and x-37 thread. Check out the end of my sound clip video.

Showed the vid to my coworkers and they all loved the whistle.

Holy shit that whistle is loud. Anyone know what's causing it?
Probably just a characteristic of the turbine and compressor wheel in the X-37 and the way it pulls in air from the intake. My '02 Focus SVT short ram intake(came with the car when i bought it) makes a similar noise under a light load but it isn't quite as loud.
