Quick question for those of you already running the Euro lights... Is the amber turn signal bulb the same type (3157) as in the U.S. spec Fiesta's? I've already ordered a set of Morimoto bulbs to swap out the turn signals in my current headlights, but not sure if they'll work in the Euro's. Thanks.

No it is not I believe it is a p21w bulb

My headlights arrived this morning, barely 72 hours after placing the order and payment with Wendy. Crazy!! I asked for them to mark it fragile and the box arrived completely wrapped in "fragile" tape. A lot of bubble wrapped used within the box and neither headlamp seems to have tabs broken. Hopefully I'll get a chance to install this weekend! I have an MO FiST and I'll post up pics after install.

They do indeed look very good on MO! Better than in pics for sure. Installed this morning!! Took one hour total, being slow and careful. I'm mildly astonished at how easy it is to change these lights. The wiring tips were spot on. Thank you 503!!!! The DRLs are still making me smile.

A few tips to add to 503's write-up:

1) I would do the wiring slot-change while you have the headlight(s) out. It makes it much much easier to reach the harness plug. I did the passenger side after the headlight was installed, and it was ok, but you can't reach the driver's side very well at all once the light is installed. At least on my 2016, the harness was so tight on the driver's side that I could not pull it up high enough to do anything with it when the light was installed.

2) when you get to the step where you have removed the backer on the headlight plug and can see the wires and the blocker pegs for unused wire slots - that little black blocker peg for the wire slot you want to move the wire to needs to be broken off. They don't just push out. You can break them by pushing from behind pretty hard (which seemed dodgy to me), or by breaking the top off and gently pushing the rest out from behind once you have the peg broken.

such a beauty!

I also did mine, but I noticed my cutoff looks completely off, I'll post pictures tomorrow and see if I can get some help in getting this fixed as I have HID kit installed.

For anyone that wants the absolute brightest headlight bulbs, go with the Osram Rallye H7 bulbs. I ordered a pair and will be experimenting, as I don't know if I'm 100% satisfied with how the HIDs are performing.

These bulbs output 2100 lumens compared to the average 1500 to 1600 of traditional H7 bulbs.

The only thing with getting brighter halogen style bulbs is that they typically generate more heat and the life span of the filament tanks. Just food for thought....[rockon]

I'm starting to think I have more glare than anything with the HIDs. The modified bulb doesn't sit perfectly and the hot spot between both sides is different. Plus I can't get them to aim quite right. I really don't feel these projectors are very HID compatible, though it does look good, the perfectionist in me is bothered by not being able to dial it down perfectly.

I'd love to hear what you think. I wouldn't mind a little more light. The projectors are already an improvement over USDM stock for sure, but 15-20% more light would be just about right for me. Nothing over the top. I don't want to get into HID with these, I feel like I'm kind of done with the inevitable tinkering, complexity and frequent touchiness - so I'd love to hear your thoughts after you get a chance to try them out.

I have been dealing with quite a bit of minute adjustments, removal and re-install countless times trying to get it right but I think the HIDs are causing the problems. I will definitely share my results soon, the Philips CrystalVision bulbs weren't the best, slightly better than the OE bulbs included. The Osram Rallyes provide substantially more light though, so it should be a better result.

Does anybody know if Wendy is still accepting orders? I emailed her on Monday, included my vin and the part number for the headlights. Still haven't received a email back yet.
