Did you guys end up going with the German or the UK versions? Just curious about RHD vs. LHD

I'm pretty sure it was already said that it can be manually adjusted. Hooking up the adjustment motor is not necessary.

By the way, I took a pic but when trying to post it, it gets stuck at 90% processing using Tapatalk for some reason.

Sent you a PM with my email address, you can send it there.

This looks to be VERY good news. fST just sent a picture of where the bulb goes into the headlight projector.

There will probably be just enough space for the LED bulb. It may help that I still have a portion of my bulb shaved down though. I will keep everyone posted on this. If not, I will go with the whitest halogen bulb I can find (begrudgingly).

Yes they are plug=N=Play except to move one wire on both of the car headlight connectors.
I designed the other wiring setup (shown on the other site) but it is easier to just move our parking lamp + wire (green/brown) to the empty space where the LED + (purple) should be.
This takes about 10 minutes per side (OGT) and makes the LEDs, the parking lights.

Dave
When you did this did you have to drive a hole to put the green/brown wire into the LED+ slot of the headlight connector?
fST seems to not have an opening in his connector in that slot.

I did this some time ago.
As I recall there is a small white plastic piece that must be removed from the pin location in the connector so that the wire can be inserted.

I didn't see any pictures in that thread of the factory wiring harness showing the connectors and white plastic pieces you're referring to. There is a picture of it in this post though: http://www.fiestast.org/forum/fiest...ring-drl-led-s-eurospec-lights.html#post46529

The one with the red arrow. I do see what looks like white plastic pieces in the unused slots in that pic but I swear I don't have them, just the black tabs for each slot. [dunno]

Also just above and to the left of the photo with the arrow shows the back side of the connector and the white pieces.

I do not understand how your car could be different as this connector is used '14-'16.

Take and post a good close photo of your connector.

Hopefully these pics are good enough for you to see. No white plastic pieces for me. What am I missing? lol

I guess they are now not using the little pieces to save money.

Everything should be fine as those pieces don't really do much.

I can't get the pin in the LED slot, or any other slot for that matter. It's like it's being blocked. I couldn't really tell what is blocking it though.

Maybe I just need to press on the black tab while inserting the connector. I sort of tried that earlier but it was difficult and I only tried it once.

Unfortunally this is something I cannot help you with without seeing it first hand.
Usually there are little tabs that hold the pin/socket in place that is a molded part of the connector itself.

You now get to provide instruction for others.

So is the connector becoming the issue with these? Is it the vehicle side or headlamp side? They sell these via uk Ford for about $250 American. ...shipping I'm thinking would be about $150-200.
