x37 - 283whp / 328wtq at Cobb SoCal today on E30

Yeah great numbers and more importantly a great looking curve. Torque hits hard and fast, and steadily drops in a near linear fashion while power keeps on climbing to red-line. I think this turbo is a good match for this motor.

Yeah I agree. With 91 I'm sure it's great too but I didn't want to spend another $100 to dyno the car on 91 octane but the car really wakes up on E30 and of course Adam's awesome tuning!

Was this dyno tuned or did Adam e-tune the x-37 prior to dyno?

The hp response curve looks really clean with a very nice linear ramp...Also nice to see torque hitting this early!

Do you have a boost profile curve you could post? Curious at what rpm (or how early) do you initially hit 20psi? It doesn't appear from the torque curve shown that there's much lag added with the x-37 with torque peaking as early as ~3100rpm...

"and of course Adam's awesome tuning!"

I think that says it all.

I agree that Adam's tuning skills are obviously a big part of the equation...

However....Its also the x-37's relatively quick spool and overall response that appears to be far better than any other turbo options I've reviewed to date...

As someone mentioned earlier the x-37 appears to be the best match with the FiST's 1.6L engine...

This was e tuned by Adam before the dyno pulls. I don't have any boost profile curves, Cobb SoCal just gave me that dyno sheet print out and a receipt.

If you get the chance just log a few short 3rd and 4th gear pulls from 2000~4000rpm to verify how early (rpm) you hit 20psi...

I notice there are few folks that have posted results that started their pulls much later than 2000rpm ....

Finally got some numbers together for 20psi boost at what RPM. In datalog #2, full throttle wasn't achieved until 2350 rpms. In datalog #3, full throttle was achieved at 1900 rpms. Both times, even with different throttle application, 20psi is reached in the 2600rpm range. Not bad!

I'd be curious to see some other numbers for this as I believe my FiST is the only one running the pumaspeed quickspool manifold this side of the pond. I'd like to know if it was worth bothering with it. I guess I could put the stock manifold back on and compare but that is a lot of work.

Datalog pics!

The peak numbers are good on the x37, but what surprises me the most is the area between the curves with the before and afters. Power curves are essentially identical but the x37 is huffing so much better at high rpm. At 5.5k we're talking 50+wtq and 60+whp and holding.

As a few mentioned a shipment of turbo's came in last week and I got them out same day. The delay and wait time on these turbo's is not really a set in stone ETA 3-4 weeks seems to be about the best guess at this time with the amount of cores I finally have coming in. The biggest issue is how long it takes the customers to get the core turbos back to me to be sent to the UK.

Pumaspeed ship times used to be much shorter until I started getting them in people's hands. I currently have all of their and my purchased cores in circulation so their direct ship time is going to be longer than what I can provide, any new turbo's they turn out immediately gets put in my shipment as I have heavy pending orders.

There are 5 more scheduled to ship out to me tomorrow it looks, including Haste's missing elbow.

Orders on new turbo shipment.

#2594

Once I receive back 2 more stock turbo's from customers that received their X-37's there is another 5 turbo's going out to Pumaspeed to be converted. Again, that its the delay you are seeing customers getting cores back. A lot of people are quick to ask for delivery times, but then then take a month or 2 to install the turbo so during that time I'm buying stock cores from eBay, Ford, other customers just to try and keep the timeline down.

Thanks for the update Tune+ I understand, seeing the current order numbers makes me nervous on arrival of mine. With mine being order #2705. Hopefully you wake up to a massive core delivery soon. Or mine will be sitting out of the car until after winter
