Pumaspeed X-37 Hybrid Turbo Thread

Yeah I know. I chose the turbo because I think it's sized properly for our car. By the time you come close to 400 you need to build the motor. Why would you choose a 550+ hp turbo like the 5757? You need to do some more research. I chose the small a/r (.48) for good spool. I'm hoping to be 325-350whp with aux fuel.

Sorry off topic.. If you want to continue this please PM me or go on my build thread. The x37 fan boys might get upset :)
Get upset hahahaha. Nope. My car just got its last and final e30 tune. Pulls hard from 2700rpms to redline. none of this 4500rpm to redline. Been there done that with my sti. You lose the fun aspect of this car. To each their own but having to search for power is not what I bought the fiesta for. The only "quickspool" turbo out there for our cars is the x37 period. Big turbo is fine if that's what you want. Have at it bit this is the x37 turbo thread. Go to the big turbo thread lol.

My opinion is the best upgrade for the fiesta st is a hybrid /x37 type. If you want similar low end like stock and power uo top, this is a no brainer. Some people like power, that's cool. There are options for you to.

See my first post in the thread with my own vDyno I posted. Same stretch of road, about 15 degrees warmer outside for the X37 pull.

This is what I'm referring to. I still need a stiffer wastegate spring which will be worth about 2psi up top.

I forget what page it might have been on, but what is the minimum REQUIREMENT for exhaust?

Meaning, is CBE "OK", or "too much of a compromise" on X37 performance?

Yes, I know "OK" and "too much compromise" are both subjective :(

Look what was on my front porch when I came home from work today!

It seems I am missing something though...I wonder what it is. [giddy] I am sure Adam will get it squared away.

It's a top secret project, but I think I'm gonna be one of the beta testers, don't know yet. I used the stratified aux fuel kit for my focus st, but rumor has it the fiesta st manifold does not flow as evenly and I'm not a DIY aux fuel kinda guy :\

The wait is long on these :-( gonna be a total of 5 weeks til I get mines??-.-
Yep, mine was 5 weeks to the day. Currently waiting on Adam to get me a base tune. I would really hate to get this thing installed tomorrow and not have a tune for it...
