If it had plugs in it you are good to go. Make sure they are not the "keep shit in" plastic plugs.

What did it end up being?
The plugs that came with the x37 were in fact metal. I was nervous/worried after the install because they were black and from the photos others were silver. This made me think maybe they were plastic plugs. But we managed to crawl under and give a tap with an allen and got the sweet sound of metal. So all the worry was over nothing.

Glad it all worked out, chime back with a review :)

You guys are going to love it! This turbo system keeps impressing me the more that I get to drive on it, and now I'm just looking forward to Oct/Nov and some "turbo weather".

Yeah I had a couple of hiccups with my accessport not wanting to update. Now it's updated and data logs were sent out this AM. If you run into accessport issues let me know. My port was getting stuck in the "waiting for accessport to reboot " part of the update. I left it over night trying to reboot. Woke up in the AM and it still read "Do not disconnect " on my accessport. I tried the update a third time and it updated without any hiccups. Patience is a virtue. Adam Tune+ was very attentive to my inquiries. And was nothing but helpful. Tuning in progress now.

Also just for giggles, the base tune Adam sent feels quicker than my COBB OTS stage 2 map...hahaha can't wait to really crack this thing open .

Well, I tried to do my install today. Did not have a lot if time but went for it anyway. Short story, found one of my downpipe bolts seized. I'll have to get new hardware and find a way to get that bolt out of there. I'm pretty sure it's damaged the threads on it. It'll stall my install for sure. Very bummed.

Spray the downpipe bolts with liquid wrench or any type of lube. Let it marinate for an hour or so. Give that a shot. Use plenty of ot too. Don't be shy.

Tried it. It's more stubborn than that, my choices are drive what ever is damaged throught while blowing out the the threads or cut it off. Isn't my first rodeo. I should have put anti sieze on these when I swapped out the downpipe. Didn't think I would have this much issue after 10k miles.

Edit:spelling...

Just got my X-37 in today and I hope to install it this weekend. Tune+ has done an amazing job tuning my car on 91 and e30 and I can't say enough good things about his tune, advice, and service. It's honestly because of Adam I'm going with this setup for my car. I can't wait to do some datalogs on this X-37!!

Rhinopolis, get your dhm ic and crash bar installed yet?
I have a Cobb fmic, and no need to replace it from what I can tell as charge air temps aren't increasing past 5F (often less) under WOT. I ordered the Crashbar on May 30 and it hasn't come in yet. I talked with Russ week before last, and he said that he would be sending some out soon.

Update,

We are on the 3rd revision of the 91 octane tune. The turbo is now kicking me back in the seat. Surprisingly there is little to no torque steer at all. The fist is perfect with this turbo setup. For all of you waiting the 3 to 4 weeks to get yours, it's worth the wait. It's been a great process so far with Adam Tune+. I usually have a tune in my inbox when I wake up. I hop in the car, do a quick 3rd gear pull, and send him the data log and will have another by the afternoon. It's going quick. The 3rd revision is where I definitely noticed how much potential the x37 has.

Can't wait to move onto E30. I just feel bad for anyone who under estimates this sleeper.
