Some clarification....

The outside temp reported on the dash does indeed have a sensor, however the instrument panel ambient temp sensor is not shared nor reported though the ECU and is a inferred value reported on AP monitor...See explanation below....

"The Fiesta ST does not have an actual AAT (ambient) sensor that reports directly to the ECU, so it relies on the ECU to infer temperature via algorithms in place that watch ECT, IAT, CAT, and VSS. There are settings in the ECU to infer this temperature at faster rates with less requirements, but typically it is still grossly inaccurate for anything in need of compensation.

To top this, the Fiesta ST instrument panel is not connected to the ECU along the same CANbus stream like the Focus ST. This means the inferred temperature is not shared with the IPC, and it derives a value on its own."

They look great! I really like wheels that look OEM. What is it may I ask?

p.s. matt black would look dope on your car
They are Konig rims, bought them from a kid that had them on a Miata...picked them up really cheap and then painted them with graphite rustoleum peel coat...

Hence the debate...lol
do they come with a center cap, and what do they look like...if the seller is willing, get on on the car and step back and do a comparison...in the end its what you think looks better. I used to like a whole different style wheel when I drove a Mitsubishi...the wheels I see on fiestas I never used to like until I owned one and started seeing them on the cars in the threads

Changed the oil, remembered why I shouldn't take it to Walmart for oil changes. Loctite on the drain plug and their impact was set to full gorilla.

It got warm enough to not worry about plastic clips snapping on me.

So the center caps are kinda scuffed ...my son suggested painting them to match the wheels and doing a red ST in the middle.. I was kinda looking around for some new ones... bought the rims for really cheap, so we're just playing around and making a fun little project out of them....btw, guess who should have that shift knob on Thursday....[lovest]
