Seems like some bushings or something like that could help with the vibrations.

No sir, I am still on TOTALLY factory stock suspension right now, right on down to the steel NVH weights on the front struts.

But yes, I DO plan on upgrading to either some form/brand of coil over setup, or at the very least, Koni Sport yellow dampers with Swift Spec-R springs. ;)

There's a small amount of vibration at idle and then up to...maybe 1,500 RPM. After that, nothing.

Not hearing that stupid thud and a firmer shift is very much worth it.

In all honesty though, my truck has a 7.3 PSD and the race car has solid motor mounts, a crazy cam, solid lifters and high compression, so I really am used to vibrations!
Yes, there is what I call a 'noticeable rumble' at COLD start out in first gear at around the revs you've mentioned (and a VERY quick rumble at just cold static, clutch in, start), and to me at least, NO actual idle vibration I can notice/feel at WARM idle.

The ONLY time it is VERY noticeable to me is when the engine is LUGGED at all, whether cold (when it is quite obvious), or hot.
But let's face it, the engine should NEVER EVER be lugged under ANY circumstances!!!!!

If you don't let your car warm up you're compromising it's life. I wait at least for the first temperature bar to appear.

Just installed one of those the other day. Then had the seat heaters installed in my standard seats. Dropped by the dealership to show off the hot seat I had them put in the deal, and the first thing he spotted was the e-brake decoration. He was pretty impressed!

I marked cutoff of stock and aligned the LED, but we'll see how it is tonight.

Drained my OCC for the first time, near 2250 miles. Seems like a lot, possible issue?


Picked up a set of Euro lights last weekend. Both sides need some mount repair done, but I've done it before and it's fairly easy.


Hit 3000 miles last night.

I just unplugged it and put it in the house. Don't see any real need for it to be constantly connected.

while all the rmm on the market all pretty much do the same thing, that one really looks cool, I really dig the red, and even though you cant really see it unless you are under the car you know its there and that counts

Do you do mostly very short trips with this car, which do not let the oil heat up fully (and burn off combustion blow-by, 'wash-down' fuel, and condensation moisture)?
That is usually what that symptom of a 'mocha milky' layer in the above pic suggests is the cause. ;)

Did that glass REEK of raw, un-burnt fuel??

60 minute/34mile round trip commute to work M-F, occasional around town errands, and 160 mile round trip every few weeks. Definitely smells of fuel, but not overly strong.
